Sorry but I'm not going to make a video of that, this is just an ibix sandblaster and a big compressor more professional I was able to buy and before I used the sandblaster from eastwood this went well too! If it hadn't been so I still used it, check it out on the site of them grtz
Philip Pessoa thanks ! Yeah, I'm sure that's going to happen after I've welded the nose back, I do all the seams that are necessary, especially inside where I showed the example because there are 3 holes that are provided where water must be able to drain away, so I'm going to make those seams, so you avoid water in between, you always have to think where can the water come and can it come here or walk in between or stay there? this is my idea about it.
Yup indeed 👌😁, I'm not from south africa but from Belgium, although I can understand that you think so there is also a mix of dutch ( West Flanders ) With very typically the same accent like where I live, 🙂
@@Restorezone well first I wanted to say Dutch but it was slichtly different so I thought suid afrikaans, but it makes sense now I heard de zachte g where I come from we have the harde g. You as a Flemish knows exactly what that’s mean. You are not so far than, that might be interesting to do a meet and greet once :-)
@@Restorezone When the borders are open again and the weather is nice the 02 will come out of it’s hibernation. I am currently working on a new engine and hopefully will be ready at that time. And a trip to Belgium would be lovely :-)
C F If you can remove rust or sandblast I'm more fan of it, if it's too rusty I'll try to put in a new part, if you really can't do otherwise or you can't handle it I'd also use it better than leaving it rusty than 😁.
Yes you can on some hard to reach areas but still you have to clean the rust converter back to bare metal before you apply epoxy primer. P180 everything before epoxy and epoxy has to be 2k product, you can put acrylic 2k filler primer wet on wet on epoxy after 20-30min epoxy Flash of or paint on epoxy wet on wet.
It's awesome seeing other creators making E10 content. Great attention to detail!

Do you recommend adding a seam sealer after applying rust converter or is the rust converter is enough? Great video! very informative.

It’s being preserved for another 50 years ;-) well done. When I hear your accent I would think you are from Suid Afrika?

Love the videos and progress on it Kevin
What grit sandpaper did you use to strip the paint with the sander... 60grit 80grit?
Philip Pessoa Is normally the finest sand there is.
What do you think about using a rust converter on everything before applying epoxy?
