I may have been down soi 35 in this video but Chatuchak district stops at the intersection so I didn't. If I had I still may not remember. It was only because you reminded me now!
The 'market' that''s around that intersection by the hotel is a bit of a joke, and tries to call itself Suan Lum Night Bazarr. The original and proper Suan Lum was near Lumpini Park and closed down in 2011.
I think they expected JJ Green market stalls to relocate there (as it's not too far) and a couple of stalls did, but that hotel caters for busloads of Chinese tourists so it was a waste of time. Srinikarin Railway market well recommended. Haven't been to JJ Green 2.

But really the area at Mo Chit, Lat Phrao Intersection is actually Chatuchak district. Too many districts and sub districts in Bangkok and often when you write an address you need to list them all so it's no wonder that it confuses Thais as well.
