The Council of Elrond from the fellowship of the ring gather to decide if we should continue the lockdown. Gandalf and the gang are in for a rough old ride.
Charlie Hopkinson is a comedic impressionist, impersonator, voice guy, whatever you want to call it who specialises in voices from current television shows and films. His standup is a character act about a retired maths teacher, his standup set includes impressions of Sir David Attenborough, Robin Williams, Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Peaky Blinders, Tommy and Arthur Shelby and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings.
Always looking to update my roster I look to try out subscriber suggested impressions in the impressions challenge series before honing the best ones. Recently I have added Peaky Blinders and Marvel / Avengers characters to my arsenal!

I started learning impressions in 2012, at the age of 20. You can follow my full impressions journey in my new ‘How to do impressions’ tutorial series
After graduating from the University of Warwick in the summer 2013 he took 4 months out to concentrate on RUclips videos full time, including producing his most viewed video to date ‘Morgan Freeman and 40 other impressions’ with just over 12 million views. This foray into being a ‘full time RUclipsr’ was cut short as he went travelling for 3 months before starting a 2 year teaching Graduate scheme with Charity ‘Teach First’.
While teaching he has performed in and narrated the 4 episode series ‘Lookalikes’ as Morgan Freeman. The show and the narration received a positive reception. The show aired on Channel 4 during the prime time slot of Friday 10pm for three weeks. It is now currently available on Netflix. Charlie also performed with other well known impressionists for an unaired pilot.
Charlie has worked for several prominent brands in relation to their products, including google and formula 1.
Since the summer of 2016 Charlie has once again dived into the world of RUclips, for the first time producing content on a weekly basis. He is also focusing on live performance; he has performed in live venues a total of 3 times to date.

@@CharlieHopkinson The problem is because of their fear-mongering, millions and millions of lives are being affected, including mine, far more than the virus could have ever done to us all. You seem to miss the point that "experts" are paid huge amounts of money for their work and if they fail - which they are, did and have so far - there will never face any accountability for their mistakes because they were "the best available at the time". I couldn't care less for orange man bad, because at the end of day experts can be corrupted and so far WHO is as black as coal.

Comparative to things that really don't matter? Also this video is not saying full lockdown is necessarily the answer. But either way a blanket statement of we don't listen to experts is very dangerous, and that is what that part of the vid is comedically exposing.

The impressions are top tier. I was particularly impressed with the strained effect on boromir, the slight dialect on aragorn, and REALLY impressed with how you were able to swallow Gimly's voice to give him that full-bodied dwarven feel.
These are all really good! Hopefully I can get my editing skills up to par and join you in this voice realm. It would be a pleasure to one day make content this sublime.

As an American I can confirm that yes we should know better. Unfortunately common sense has become less common nowadays.
The virus was never that serious to begin with.
I think it's crazy how our news platforms are so extremely polarized in their respective representations of the same events. It's so exhausting to pick apart every story and separate implied voice from explicit statements, but if you treat the news like infomercials and analyze what's legally being claimed vs. prosaically implied, they often read entirely different from their original takes and suddenly have a shred in common with each other. But damn it's exhausting
I agree that we can be stupid, but this is a pretty big issue without an easy solution. I’m not sure what experts are recommending as far as how long we stay in lockdown but there’s definitely a limit. Unfortunately a lot of Americans live paycheck to paycheck (I don’t, but I hear many do) and it’s just true that we can’t let the economy die or we’re going to have even more issues to resolve. The plan I heard is to let each state work with the government to decide to slowly open up in phases but only if they first meet a certain minimum # of cases. They’re not going to remove lockdown everywhere at once and they’re not going back to normal right away, there’ll still be restrictions as each state goes through phases. Plus I think they intend to adjust restrictions as needed if there’s a flare up of cases at any time in a state. Anyways, it probably won’t work great because ppl don’t listen, but if ppl did listen, it’s not a terrible idea.
