Yup.. I did it. I needed a compact IP65 black light and caved in to Amazon.. let's talk about how it played out...

I scored the 10*3 watt Rock Jam brand uv bars last year for $14 a piece, couldn't beat them. They are super bright and will be great for black out parties this year

Yo I was seriously going to try and pickup some Chauvet Shadows this week while at DJ Expo....this my be a serviceable and CHEAPER alternative!

Not familiar with the Shadow but this is NOT a replacement for a pro fixture. It's great for small applications, though!

Yeah, the Shadow is a led blacklight fixture by Chauvet...they are around $150ish. Yeah they are way more powerful...and are more of a "pro" fixture, but I have done some stuff outdoors and wanted a water resistant blacklight....which I dont think the Shadow is.
I hope they have a good deal on them in the exhibit hall on Tuesday, but Check it out here:

These lights are the best but people dont mention it because now people would not have regular flashlights that are black lights but.! I'm getting those I'm getting the black lights that have a flashlight-like shape. But, black lights Are very useful only in some situations. But still, great channel and video.

Yup... I know. the shirt I had got stained and had to put this one on last min.
Human eyes can’t pickup all the uv, the light isn’t dim. It’s how Uv rays work. 🙂
