Most certainly it is not funny, the humor quotient is neglible. Regardless of their potential subjectivity, some jokes should not be made, this is one of them.

Jokes should be taken lightly unless they are unethical or immoral as they send a profane message and hence not jokes but Chloe is a beagle and a hare is it's prey. While it's possible for such unorthodox bonds to form, it's rare and absurd in its own way to a normal person even if it's not morally or ethically wrong. Just imagine if I show up to your house with a chicken and tell you it's my wife. From my perspective it would be rare yet just but from your perspective it will be weird. So my joke is not made with the intention to shun Chloe, it's rather targets the absurdity or rarity of this unusual relation. Even her owners realize the unusuality of this case. It doesn't necessarily mean they hate their 4 legged friend, they just acknowledge the unusuality.
You just didn't get the joke unlike the 194 people that did. Hopefully, I made myself clear about the nature of my joke. It was never meant to seem hostile rather give people a good laugh during these hardtimes.

I'm usually skeptical of these dog and bunny videos because to me the rabbits don't look like they're enjoying it nearly as the humans like to think they are, but Rue looks genuinely relaxed.
Theres actually lots of videos where the rabbits are not being handled properly and in serious distress, but this is for sure one of those videos where the rabbit and the dog are like siblings and the rabbit is relaxed

It’s like how dogs genuinely like helping dogs that don’t know how to be dogs be a dog, when you see Chloe bringing the toys to Rue it’s almost like she’s thinking “ok, maybe that last toy didn’t do it... but this one will definitely fix her and she’ll learn how to be a dog and she’ll be extremely thankful in the end!”

Chloe would have loved our bunny Stupsi, coz he used to chase around our dog all the time. Funny thing is our bunny looked excactly like Rue, and our dog absolutely hated being chased by him

I keep seeing videos of dogs and rabbits "playing" and it always feels like the rabbit is actually being territorial or scared. I really want a dog one day but I dont want to stress out my bun even if it looks cute. But this video is different. Your beagle is actually really calm around the bunny, and you can see they really seem to enjoy each others company. Thanks for showing my dream might be possible!
Reminds me a little of our family's dog. We could always trust her around the guinea pigs. We could leave the cage doors open while we were gone without any worry. She'd stick her head in the cage sometimes and poke them with her nose and lick them. The pigs were never afraid of her, though they'd sometimes get annoyed at the dog trying to herd them in circles like tiny sheep.

Rabbits have never been rodents, they're actually Lagomorphs. This is the name of pretty much every rabbit or rabbit-like animal. It's very unique, and that's why rabbits are so awesome!

Awww ... I just love this video! I had a female beagle while growing up. We had Rocky for 15 years. Beagles are such good, sweet loyal friends. Rue has SUCH a good & faithful friend in Chloe, and Chloe has such a sweet, faithful, loving playmate in Rue. These two go totally against "nature", and I just love it! So sweet. My dog has beagle in her and a wild Momma rabbit I have, that has lived under my shed for years play together and chase each other in my backyard.

I had a bunny as a pet that was exactly like Rue. The breed is called a Cinnamon rabbit. They kind of look like a groundhog with long ears. He was one of the sweetest rabbits I have ever had as a pet. He lived a good long bunny life. They are a big bunny and are extremely friendly. Good choice for Chloe to have as a pet friend!

I currently have 2 bunnies that are free roam in my house. They’re a bonded pair and so sweet together. I’ve had a total of 7 bunnies in the past years and their personalities were all different. They’re wonderful and deserve a great life. Very cute video!
I used to have a beagle like this. Just super friendly. A few years after she passed, we went to a shelter and adopted a beagle puppy that was rescued from a kill shelter a couple of days before she was going to be euthanized. She's also super friendly, but not to bunnies. Fortunately for us, she's not the best hunter. One time she was looking out the window at a bunny and barking at it, so just so she could get it out of her system, I let her outside. As soon as I let her out, she bolted - in the complete opposite direction of the bunny. 🤦♂️

If these animals with a much more limited mental capacity than humans can co-exist as different SPECIES, why can’t we humans all get along as the same species? We should’ve already had this down.
The next step would be that if animals with their lesser mental capacity can help each other, why can’t we, as the most intelligent species, do more for other species? We Americans consider dogs and cats our friends and get upset when other countries torture and kill them but we torture and kill all other animals. This is not a vegan rant but if we must kill to eat, why do we put up with and continue to support factory farms that treat animals so poorly? :(
Animals are so much more intelligent than we think. We are so ignorant of them actually and their emotional intelligence especially. We are not the superior species in my eyes until the day we can coexist instead of taking, depleting, and exploiting the entire world; humans, animals, and nature itself included. We can do it! We just need to push for that kind of world more.
Tweak our lifestyle a bit, (or a lot actually for some) use sustainable alternatives, demand that companies become more sustainable/use alternatives to the harmful materials they use every day. And what about writing and calling to our very government to try to persuade/demand they enact more policies to protect and heal our environment and all of us in general! I mean isn't that their job... Even so, if the masses alone changed their lifestyle, that holds so much power too! Every time we buy all or more of : sustainable/ethical/humane/organic food, sources, products, materials, procedures... When you buy from companies that stand for all of the above...
We will be supplied with more of it!
And it will become more commercialized and the prices will go down!! (Bc we know products that are labeled all of what I mentioned above tend to be more expensive) But c'mon! THAT is the true power of your money and how you spend it!

Animals have a MUCH HIGHER MENTAL CAPACITY than humans. Humans are some of the stupidest and Most VIOLENT of ALL Species on this planet. As for eating Animals- we should eat humans instead.

patience truly is a virtue and I know because it's something I've quite recently been determined to master , and it's not easy in this world 😂 but it is more rewarding at the same time when I see how people better respond when I am patient and kind... when I can empathize and they see that I care :) Remember that sometimes the meanest people need the most kindness bc meanness is probably all they've ever been taught and shown :(

Coming from a person who's had a beagle for 13 years, you need to be brushing their teeth if not the teeth can get infected this happened to my beagle it's a habit you need to form early on.
My youngest pit has stinky breath too since day 1 but her mama does not!? And I do clean them occasionally but they look fine? Some dogs must just have bad breath

As long as animals have food, shelter, and attention, they are generally content and will be friendly with others, of their own kind and different species. Deceit, hurtfulness, and unprovoked violence (unfortunately) are characteristics almost exclusively seen in humans. Empathy and compassion were not critical parts of our evolution into "advanced" beings.
Well said. What makes human become the most dangerous creature in this planet is because none of them doesn't have 7 Deadly sins, whether its obvious or not and rarely has the high quality of IQ and also EQ.
