Out of nobles of all the seven kingdoms, those of the riverlands have always given me the impression of being the most vacuous. I mean take the Tullys themselves for instance. Other than Blackfish, every Tully that has actually appeared in the story is an airhead.
@@tiffles3890 the riverlands are the most chaotic area by far, greyjoys at the west, the border to the north and the land is full of plains and valleys in between the vale and the lannister mountains. They also all got those two conflict houses with house frey up top people might think the reach is the chaotic but it's fortified by religion of the seven since it's closer to oldtown.

I love the background/set, the cinematics, the hard cut to everyone dead, the dialogue and the way it was spoken/acted by the characters. they had so much personality in just 2 minutes of screen time. plus, I'm obsessed with the Blackwood/Bracken feud and find that sort of rivalry interesting 🤷♀

So people complained we didnt see the battle. 1. We never saw every battle on Thrones especially Robb's battles. 2. At the end of the day while it is a battle it's only the opening battle to Dance of the Dragons. 3. These are all minor characters who aren't important overall to the story 4. Seeing the aftermath is better, less is more and you can use imagination to see what occured.
@@inigo_bpc They actually have some of the largest armies in the riverlands as their lands are rich and populated. These 'minor' houses in that they're not wardens, but they're both very strong. It's why people play them against each other all the time, and why them both backing Rob was a big deal.
This show how competent Robb really was when he commanded the Riverlands. He tamed these two houses. Unfortunately, he wasn’t GRRM’s favorite boy so he didn’t get as much plot armor as his sisters, crippled brother and bastard brother. Plus, the Lannister propaganda made people only think of him as a horny fool when he’s more than that.

I know that one is a Bracken, but just past his body slightly to the half left (first body past him I think), is someone who looks a lot like the Blackwood that challenged the Bracken. It's a little hard to tell so I'm not sure but the hair and build are pretty close. I hope not though, I liked that guy. Was that the kid that had tried to marry Reynyra (sp?)?

Ok so tbh I can’t tell if that badass Blackwood is dead or not, there is some talk that after we see that long haired Braken dead over to the left by a dead horse there is a Blackwood body that has a similar haircut to him however I cannot confirm if it’s him. It would be cool if they made that Blackwood guy Bloody Ben, because Ben being 11 is kinda weird in my opinion.
