Nice to see you cover Power Rangers. It was one of my favorite shows as a kid.
If you want, James reviewed the showed, titled "Power Rangers - A noob's review". He never saw it as a kid and instead binge watched it as a result before he did the AVGN Power Rangers episode. Give it a watch if you want to see James in film/tv critique mode
To explain the ending....It's a review based on the Power Rangers games...What he was doing was imitating the Megazord combination, and the Super Scope was to be the Power Sword and finishing move towards the enemy...If he didn't do that, I honestly think the review would have been naked without it
I loved Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as a kid. I grew up playing the Sega Genesis games like the one he mentioned in this review that was a fighting game. And The Movie games. James also made a video talking about his history with the franchise. How he wasn’t a Power Rangers guy necessarily growing up I believe. But he made an effort to watch the series, and learned it’s fame history. R.I.P. Jason David Frank who plays Tommy. You should also checkout his Transformers Super Famicom video! And Dragon’s Lair for NES while your at it. Lol

Zack was my favorite character despite the mastodon being my least favorite zord. Dragonzord was my favorite zord just because it was like Godzilla, or I guess Mecha Godzilla.

I admit even tho I never got into Power Rangrers(Super Sentai) as a kid, there ARE some stuff about it that I do find pretty cool.
19:56 streets of rage 3 has a level with the same bull crap, instead it's in a traffic or street. i tried to get away from the bulldozer, but those borders or whatever builders use to block people while fixing the road, took too long to destroy.

A Ranger doing their shopping while standing in the cart? Weird. A Ranger doing their shopping while jumping and flipping OVER the cart while putting products in it (like in the tv ad for the old Toys R Us shopping spree)? Totally in character and awesome. 🤣

@@lolasroom7171: I don't know, Lola. As a child, I saw plenty of children hanging rear facing off the carts, despite the label on the carts saying not to do that. Nobody called security, there wasn't the guard hauling the screaming parent out the door, but I live in Nebraska, so....
If anyone ever made a movie about Godzilla, King Kong and Forest Gump playing ping pong i would sooooo watch it! 🤣🤣
19:24. The only old school game I can think of in which punches and kicks alternate automatically despite using only one button is Bad Dudes on the NES. I'm not sure if James did a video on it, though.

I'd say if you want a condensed crash course in Power Rangers and it's 30 year long mythos, I HIGHLY recommend watching Linkara's History of Power Rangers; it's the perfect summary for each season if you don't feel like slogging through through over 800+ episodes.
I'd also say check out the opening compilation for the Super Sentai intros; it's some good shit.
man, the sega cd version. imagine if someone try to let you watch tv shows on snes. which you can actually watch tv shows or movies on snes. people use dvds to watch movies and tv on game console because they allow dvds. what would that be like to have a movies played on snes. would that be cool?

I've just done a podcast on Power rangers Dino fury and will be doing a watch through of every season of power rangers soon.
I was into Power Rangers too as a kid, but here in Sweden they only showed the 1st & 2nd season because it was taken off the air because it was "too violent" & some dumb kid tried to recreate it.
That's the same reason why Darkwing Duck disappeared from TV here. That sucked!
And of course since there was no internet back then I had no idea that they where still making Powers Rangers, but on every season they introduced new characters & when a new season starts they disappear & introduce new ones again!
And every season had a new name & gimmick also!
Honestly when some of the original cast started to disappear & Green Ranger became White Ranger I lost interest when I was a kid, even my kid self would not have liked this constant change every season had I know it back then.
I remember seeing power rangers games as a kid i had no idea if they were good.
The game may suck but I HIGHLY reccomend watching the Lightspeed Rescue season of Power Rangers. Also Time Force.
