This most delicious and easiest Blueberry Yogurt Cake made without added sugar, oil, or even flour! You only need 3 minutes and 4 ingredients to prepare it. It tastes creamy and fruity!

Ingredients:
2 cups (400g) sweetened yogurt
4 eggs
4Tbsp (40 g) cornstarch
1/2 cup (70g) blueberries
Optional:
20 blueberries for toppings

Ohhh brilliant, these were what I had issue with too. He says no sugar, but still includes insulin spiking ingredients, and is a let down.
@@waffle_chair9269 Its -no added sugar - which is better . The banana idea is good, and also When I make this I half the blueberry yogurt with plain yogurt and add vanilla ex. That cuts half the sugar , which is minimal anyways if you get the right yogurt. Lucerne light has the same amt of added sugar as an average microwave meal , even less I think 👍
Looks very good----"no added sugar" BUT recipe calls for "sweetened yogurt" I really hate it when these videos say misleading things. Sweetened yogurt HAS added sugar. Please don't do this.

Well you are lacking knowledge if you think sweetened yoghurt can only be achieved by sugar, what happened to honey, maple syrup, Stevia, etc?
huh not sure what your point id? Even if one used honey, maple syrup, etc. it still would be sugar added....stevia, monkfruit etc. are still added sugar...I see this alot esp coming out of Europe and I wish the description would not be misleading...

I have this in the oven now! I used low fat vanilla Greek yogurt and I added blackberries on the top plus the blueberries. Can’t wait to try!!!!

get your hands on some pure lemon extract, wash and zest a lemon in to the mix and you'll thank me later. lemon and blueberries are a great combo!

Hi , this is the best yoghurt cake recipe I have seen, thanks for sharing. Anyone knows if cornstarch can be substituted with tapioca powder? How long can this cake stay good in the fridge ? Can this cake be frozen? Thanks 🌹
If you use tapioca powder, the texture and taste of the cake will be different. It can be stored for up to two days in the refrigerator. Yes, you can also wrap it and freeze it.

the sidesof the bowl when mixing the batter, and scrape out the batter that coats the bowl?

@@adna- my husband grabbed plain greek so I used honey and it was OK, not good but not inedible. Probably better with the right yogurt but not gonna find out here.

Eggs are one of the main ingredients in this recipe. Maybe you can try Egg Replacer, but I'm not 100% sure.
Try custard powder.
Looks good, however you mention there is no added sugar, but the yogurt is sweetened. Isn't that added sugar then?

Thanks for the delicious easy to make recipe! One more tip: reserve a bit of the corn starch and coat the berries with them before adding them to the batter. That way they will be suspended in the batter and won’t sink to the bottom of the pan!

Thank you for this recipe tried it and the texture was wonderful… jus required some citrus juice to reduce the egg flavour some comments indicated that corn starch to coat the blueberries to avoid the fruit falling to the bottom of the cake that was also helpful… thankyou for this wonderful recipe

This recipe is awsome. As I figure it out that on 4 eggs goes 400 gr of yogurt, I've made it with 5 eggs and 500gr of skyr protein yogurt and added 50gr spelt flour and 5gr tapioca starch, also I've used 125gr blueberries and 100gr strawberrys, baked less than 50min in a round 25cm pan.

I make this cake using 400g ricota
3 ovos, 2Tbsp corn starch
1/2 cup sugar
Baking tin 18cm
180° C 50/5min
Blueberries or blueberries raspberries

I made this recipe using ramekins. It was easy & delicious! I used unsweetened yogurt & did not add sugar as I'm reducing my sugar intake. I added almond extract & lemon extract. I'm going to try this recipe with other flours like coconut, almond & cassava... just to experiment. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

You could try a low glycemic natural sweetener.
You could add erythritol/stevia for sweetness and glucomannon powder as a corn starch substitute! They have zero carbs so it'll help with the sugar intake!! It should come out just like this!!
Cassava and arrowroot work good for gluten-free
Coconut flour will definitely not work

@@machiavellianos yes. Flan is a custard dessert that usually comes with a delicious syrup topping. I made this recipe last week and the consistency of it is similar to that of flan but the flavor is a lot like cheesecake.

This reminds me of a custard-ish. I used my convection oven and put the temp at 350F and it dropped temp down to 325F. (I also live in high altitude) I cooked it for about 1hr 15min. I used a 12in springform cake pan. That was all I had. (I think I would like it better with a smaller pan. Thicker.)
I mixed my eggs first, then added my dairy free yogurt (unsweetened coconut). I did as someone suggested with dusting blueberries in corn starch. I added about 2-3 teaspoons of monk fruit for sweetness. I also added about 3T of lemon juice and some lemon zest. Turned out great and yummy!
Don't know where I went wrong but the end result was a mess. I am pretty good at baking things. I was excited about tasting the end result. The garbage disposal was the recipient of the final product. It never solidified.
No sugar - add sweetened yogurt. Lol. Do you understand the process of sweetening the yogurt? It still has sugar even if you did not directly added it. And what do you think difference between starch and flour is? You do know that starch is pure carbohydrates while flour also has added proteins and fiber?

Its not click bait tbh, the corn starch is gluten free like the title says, this never said it was carb free. Flour has gluten and is not ideal to eat despite what some so called experts will say.
And he/she didn’t “add” sugar to the recipe, so thats kinda the whole point
I tried making this cake, I used vanilla sweetened yogurt, vanilla essence and 2 tbsp honey.. the cake looked great, but for people who have sweet tooth, this cake will not hit the spot. Its not sweet enough. I will probably recommend people to use condensed milk rather than sugar if you like a proper sweet cake, as sugar will be difficult to melt. So 300 yogurt and 100 condensed milk. This recipe is best for people who prefer their cakes less sweet. otherwise you will need to improvise and add condensed milk for a good tasting cake. Also ensure that the berries are sweet

You’ll regret if you try! I never gave a bad review on recipes, but this cake without cheese is really nothing! It’s like steamed eggs with blueberries. Wasting my time and the stuff I bought!
I am a professional baker and I saw that the recipe has a lot of eggs, the flavor has to be pure egg and the cornstarch is basically flour. But as a baker, she's hiding an ingredient here, I bet she adds 16oz of cream cheese, it's impossible to get that texture without cheese, plus the cheesecake doesn't look yellow inside. I suggest you make the recipe with only 2 eggs and 2 cream cheeses "if you want you can use low-fat cheese", and add 1/2 cup of sugar and vanilla to taste if you wish. I could write a wonderful recipe, but then she would make my recipe and she would get paid for the views and I would not receive any compensation. but that will help you. These Food Channels always hide a secret, I see it all the time. They mislead people with incomplete recipes. they just want the views and the RUclips paycheck for the amount of subscribers.

Did you add sugar to the yogurt or did you just buy sweetened yogurt. Not sure what you mean by sweetened yogurt.

Recipe is great , though sugar is in abundance in sweetened yoghurt so its not sugar free
You can use unsweeted yogurt and add stevia or other sweetener
