- As its the 15th anniversary of Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 6 has been announced, heres a video of the making of Gran Turismo 3.

They had GT Academy plans, hhhmmm... So basically they were planning this ever since 2001. Wow. Nice job Kaz. But why no standard Diablo like the one in GT6?

I think it was actually the concept for GT Sport. With having an official online championship
By having seen the new front cover art of GTsport, it's very reminiscing of GT3. Kaz indeed been planning on making something like it since the early days of Gran turismo.
by playing the new GT sport I wanted to kill my self. I wish they'd go back into years like these putting effort in the game it being fun, not insanely easy to win etc.
Remember watching this when it was on a game magazine disc. I was in awe at just how incredible the game looked and the work/ effort to achieve this. It was way ahead of its time a masterpiece
Gran Turismo 3 is one of the best GT games in the series, including GT2 and GT4.
2:33 holy crap, that's a Diablo? Why they used a Diablo as a test model if there isn't one in the game (at least not internationally, the jpn has that nomad diablo gt1) And at 4:28 there's a Bugatti EB110. Why those cars didn't appear ingame
It's interesting that the models were even made in the first place. I guess they were planning on getting the license but for some reason couldn't obtain it. A Nomad GT1 Diablo made it in the JPN release and can be obtained in the US version via game shark but as far as I know the regular Diablo shown and EB110 were completely removed. It would have been so cool to have Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti and Porsche in earlier games but I almost somehow can't picture it.
there is also a 911 gt2 finished in the game with porche badging but because EA owned the rights at the time they had to turn to RUF

thats that Lancer rally car sound i believe. PD does that all the time (in intros for instance)
Awesome game. The downside about this game is the car list due to the graphics are much larger graphics to add detail on car models than GT2. Plus tracks like Clubman Stage Route 5 and High Speed Ring for example didn't appear in GT3.
it's a burdensome game to run on emulator - i think it's time i splurged on a new laptop to run it!
Then the GT4 is the revision (in my opinion ok) of the GT3. I love this game man.

That idea has basically become GT Sport

They had a functioning online mode for GT4, but it was cut at the last minute from the final game for some reason. They iterated on it and began to slowly realize it starting with GT5 Prologue and culminating with GT Sport ultimately.

I think, is GT Sport remastered version of GT3? GT3 has better graphics than GT2 and GT1 so in GT Sport. It has better graphics than GT6 and 5.
And when you win a car, it looks similiar as in GT3.
And both cases are same color.
and GT3 was basically a GT2 remaster for the new system.

Weekest GT I think but for that time its ok

and then forza came along and they failed ever since trying to keep up
because while GT's developers are car lovers, otherwise Forza's developers are Money Lovers.
Forza values quantity, GT however values quality.
