The graphical leap from this game to gt3 was INSANE, I can't imagine what it was like to experience these games coming out when they did. First the groundbreaking physics, then the graphics unlike anything anyone had ever seen. Amazing

Still love GT2 so much. It was one of my favorite childhood games, but I barely ever got that far in it. Coming back to it almost 20 years later, it's just as good or even better than I remember it being long ago! GT2 is still such an impressive game. The cars feel different from each other, there's great satisfaction in finding rare used cars, tuning all the cars in great detail, reading vivid descriptions of your favorite cars. There's just so much to unpack here. It's games like these that make me feel like it would be cool to see developers go back to these old engines and make games on them again. There's just something about the aesthetic and feeling.
