    These new skates are already feeling awesome. A little scratchy before some break-in but they really started to glide during last night's stream!

    I probably should have kept the default sensor ring on because I kept it on with my old LG glass mouse feet/skates, the tiger ice V2 one is just a little too big for the ring to fit inside flush. The Puck also feels like its scratching if I keep that on so I just take it off, it takes off a few grams of weight on the mouse anyway so I think that's why everyone just leaves it off.

    You definitely need to remove ALL the shit on the puck right down to the hard plastic before applying that piece or else it will be lifted and the sensor will be choppy. Great skates though they feel nice

    • @HotSauceZee

      Yeah for sure. On mine, interestingly enough, my puck doesn't even touch the pad when I have it on there so I just leave it off. Lol

    What mousepad do you use with this setup? I bought both tiger ice feet and corepads and I will try to compare them and I don’t have to worry about buying new ones in the future. I’m also wondering if I should buy an artisan hein and not sure what the best mousepad to buy. Great video by the way!

    • @HotSauceZee
      @HotSauceZee  2 года назад

      Artisan Hien is supposed to be very good. I’ve only ever used a GSR and I’m currently using a Skypad 2.0 XL.

      @@HotSauceZee well I bought an artisan hein and I definitely recommend lol it may be a little steep for a mousepad but it’s hands down amazing feeling mousepad I’m currently still trying to get my mouse feet in I’ve heard of superglides being good but I’m not sure

    Is there a plastic piece on the adhesive side that makes it thicker? I installed it and it was super choppy like it wasnt picking up the sensor well

    • @HotSauceZee
      @HotSauceZee  2 года назад +4

      Should just be mouse (get it to bare plastic when you remove the old feet) then adhesive then new feet.

  • @stephen3260

    I don't have any scratchy feeling on my stock mouse skates but I have the skates, should I install them anyways or should I wait for the stock ones to wear out?

    • @HotSauceZee
      @HotSauceZee  8 месяцев назад

      Up to you really. If you are fine with the way the stock ones are gliding right now then I'd just wait them out.

    • @HotSauceZee
      @HotSauceZee  2 года назад

      They might. Depends on what type of pad you’re using, how much pressure you use and how long you play. My Tiger ICE didn’t last super long on the Sky Pad.

    i used rubbing alcohol on mine and all it did was spread the old adhesive around and make a big mess

    • @HotSauceZee
      @HotSauceZee  2 года назад

      Yeah sometimes that stuff can be kind of goopy. You may have to use something a bit stronger like Goo Gone to cut through the old adhesive. It can be pretty oily stuff though so I’d go back after that and make sure to get that oil off.

      You can usually find them at lethal gaming gear. I didn’t have any LOD issues either. Just have to be sure to remove the extra stuff under the stock feet as well like I show in the video. If you don’t, there could be LOD issues.
