If this season had some more content and wasn't drip fed to us, I'd probably almost call this season THE comeback. ESPECIALLY if they mentioned input fixes. But looking at what we got all together, it's aight. Could be one of the seasons of all time.

I think its fair people get miffed about how they handled it, it was pretty tongue in cheek splitting hairs themselves so it's understandable the content starved fans called them out on it. Regardless how it plays, the toxic positivity of "just be grateful for the absolutely abysmally minimal content drip feed" is easily one of the biggest contribution to the bar constantly being lowered, not people making a valid complaint.

Imo Dice / EA not only ruined the bf franchise itself by trying to change the franchise in a way that made gameplay worse, instead of innovate the game and keep its identity (excellent gunplay, thought out, logical maps) 2nd they mocked the loyal fanbase over and over with an arrogant attitude. The fact they call the stadium a new map (despite its maybe a good map and a lot of players actually wanted it back) to me shows they’re still totally disconnected from the players. Even for me as a bf veteran who rooted for this franchise for years is just unforgivable

I feel like the people who are mad at palworld are pokemon fans who know it's taking their player base. there's no one to one copying. 😂 sure, there are similarities, but the same could be said about pokemon with other games before it. Plus... all these people are losing their mind like Nintendo can't handle their own business. they are ruthless with their IPs, and they knew about palworld a long time ago. The only reason they made an announcement was because all the pokemon fans contacted them crying about palworld. both these companies are in Japan, where there are no fair use laws. so if anything was ripped off, it would have been dealt with. stop crying cause there's competition. 😂

Fans have been demanding featured from the pokemon company for YEARS and they have refused to give us what we want. I say props to Pal World devs for actually listening and doing what TPC wont.

"The similarities are out of hand", posts a picture that doesn't contain anything actually in Palworld. lol The people saying it's pokemon haven't actually played Palworld for sure because if they had they'd realize instantly that a lot of the fake outrage over "1 for 1" simply isn't true. As someone who has played Pokemon for years and now playing Palworld, there is no real comparison. The comparisons that are fairly close are close because both the pokemon creature and palworld creature are based on the same real world creature, such as a Wolf for example, or a bear, or dinosaurs such as a plesiosaur. A snake like creature is going to have similar base models as any other snake creature. Additionally, as pointed out, Pokemon was not the first. Dragon Quest and Shin Megami Tensei both were before Pokemon, if Palworld can be safely accused of copying Pokemon, then Pokemon can be safely accused of copying both of it's predecessors. As far as copyright goes, you can't copyright a monster you made based off a real world creature such as a wolf and then try to prevent anyone else from using wolf like creatures in their games. That's just ludicrious.

The similarities in design are on characters based in real life animals and objects. For example, if you create a pokemon based on a "bear", and someone else creates a pal based on a "bear" there may be unintended similarities. A bear is a bear is a bear

And it's not their first time being "very very very inspired" by Nintendo, Pocket Pair have also made "CraftTopia" a game that looks very very very similar to Zelda Breath of the Wild... I don't have anything against the idea or the gameplay of Palworld. But I find it discusting that Pocket Pair try to gain popularity by looking very very very similar to Nintendo...

To me the designs don't really look the same aside from the hyper cartoony art style focusing on modifying real life animals and concepts, but even if they were direct 1:1 ripoffs, even if they had Pikachu himself in the game I'd say this: I'm not Nintendo, I don't care if some huge corporation loses a bunch of money because they aren't up to par with a fake, I don't care about copyright in the slightest, I like good games, I like quality products, these are things that actually affect me. If a company releases fun games then I'm rooting for them, screw all the legal yap.

Its a free or 20 to 30 dollar game.. the standard is set..if its a 70 dollar game it should look and play like elden ring...ffs
