There are three different kinds of BanditⓇ Machines that require different equipment:
Gen 1 - Bolts Dimensions: 1/2" by 2.5”, flat-head cap screw. Half-thread UNC Grade 8 - These machines were manufactured by Bandit before 1995.
Gen 2 - Bolts Dimensions: 1/2" by 3”, flat-head cap screw. Half-thread UNC Grade 8
Compatible with serial numbers 8900-15800 manufactured between May 1995 and June 2000.
Gen 3 - Bolts Dimensions: 5/8” by x 3”, flat-head cap screw. Full-thread UNC Grade 8 (Bandit's newest generation of chippers)
Compatible with serial numbers 15900 and above manufactured from May 2000 to current (2023).
