I don’t mind cuffing but it doesn’t give the look I want when the jeans are a dark wash but the underside is light. I feel like it breaks up the line. Do you have any recommendations for jeans that are dark both inside and out?
Mid rise skinny from Universal Thread (Target) is dark inside and out!
You can also fold them inside instead of outside so you don’t lose the color. I’ve tried it and it works great on skinny jeans that fit more snug!😊

What do you recommend for cold weather girls? It was 8 last week here in MI. Showing some skin is gonna get you cold real fast
🥶Whenever im visiting cold weather i go more for anorondak style or hiking boots with skinny jeans tucked into them. Ankle boots would be tough in that climate. You could also do a knee high sleek boot with jeans tucked in for a dressier effect or the bootcut jeans.
I live in Michigan and wear booties on the regular. I always wear socks and let the socks pop a little... I have fun coordinating them with my outfit, or just matching them to my pants or shoes.

Yes I'm in Michigan too and the other day I wanted to run out to the store but it seemed like all my jeans were too short for a sneaker, ankle boot or the low cut uggs. Skin exposed in the snow and waiting outside to go into trader Joe's was not a good look.

The usual inseam of my jeans is 30/31 inches, so mostly anything in the stores is cropped for my long legs 🤣
I feel your pain. Most regular jeans are ankle length and ankle length are capris... erk
You are so lucky! We buy cropped jeans (26") because they fit us like regular length jeans. If we want them to be actual cropped jeans we either have to cut them or get them hemmed. 🤣

I've noticed this lately with my jeans my jeans of choice lately straight leg jeans are all ankle length and I feel like they didn't looked right with my ankle booties. I didn't feel like there should be a gap between your boot and cuff but I guess it's ok 🤷🏾♀️🤦🏽♀️
You may need to get them hemmed to get the look you want. If they are a pair you love, then the extra cost to tailor them is worth it. Just take the ankle boots that you will wear the most with them so they are shortened to the perfect length. 😉

The only jeans I've cut into bermudas are my very ripped. Eventho I still luv them think it's time to stop wearing them lol. Like the idea wearing ankle boots with a bit of ankle showing.

I have tried on sock booties and I love how they look on other people but they do not hug my ankle and there is usually a significant gap. I wondered if there was a brand that was better for a slim ankle. I am good with bargain or high end brands.
This pair worked very well for me and comes in 3 colors. I'm not sure if my ankle are really that skinny so I can't say for sure but they are a beautiful pair of boots.

When I was a kid we called them high waters, and it was NOT a good thing- usually meant you were too poor to buy new jeans as you outgrew them. I love all of your videos! Back in the day my bestie and I traveling to New York from CA. We would pack very light. One pair of bootcut jeans. They could double as capris when we rolled them up. Needless to say our college age children were mortified that we did this lol. I have been wearing skinny jeans for so long I had forgotten this until I purchase boot cut jeans recently after watching you videos. You two are such a joy to watch. You make my day always. Great tips ! I think the only one I didn’t care for was #2 , the black boot and double cuff seems to make the legs look stumpy. I think maybe with a black skinny Jean I’d like it. Just my opinion tho !
I actually had it originally with black jeans but you couldn't see the double cuff so I had to switch it out. The stumpy legs though unfortunately are just what God gave me. 😊

I know you guys are feeling the smaller cuffs, but I'm loving the single huge cuff (I think it's called the sailor cuff).... Sarah Jessica Parker and Victoria Beckham really pull it off!
Also, I'm have fun buying 'tall' pants that are really high rise (it's usually higher on the 'talls') and then doing a sailor cuff... I'm really a regular or petite! When I'm over the giant cuff, I can get them hemmed.
