You know what I love about you? You don’t just tell us what to do, you tell us the keys. For example, instead of saying how many minutes we should cook the jam, you showed us how we can tell it’s ready, because you understand that cooking time might vary from stove to stove. Love you my chef
cool! i learned another new trick to mk perfect jam! The cookies r just simply awesome, gonna try to bake soon. Tq! Merry Christmas to you too, Chef Cho!😍
it's like that you can read my mind cause I'm currently try to find the best Linzer cookie recipe for my family and friends and then you just droped this video. Thank you for the recipe, I'm gonna make this recipe then I will review it for you guys.💖
Thanks for sharing! Great tip on the jam. Never knew this :) I don’t like store bought jam as it’s so sweet. So glad u included it in the recipe too. it looks so pretty and festive!
Thank you for sharing this recipe. I have a home baking business and made these for the first time a few weeks ago (different recipe). it’s great to see the different variations. The dough is very soft and I learned quickly that it’s best to work with it when it’s really cold. I recently did ones with strawberry filling. I love the versatility of these cookies.
These look great! In the Austrian area where I'm from, they are traditionally made with red currant jam, although I don't actually know if that's acurate to the original recipe. Oh, and I did not know that they are known globally as Linzer cookies! Frohe Weihnachten!
I really appreciate in every of your videos there are always special tips you shared. The Linzer cookies looks so pretty. 😍 Thank you once again, Chef Hanbit🙏
just made this recipe for christmas .... people.....this is the most delicious cookie ive ever had...also you do need to work fast with the dough, 10 out of 10 would recommend
🎄❄️⛄️ These Linzer cookies are a Showstopper; your recipe is marvellous because you took it up a notch and made homemade raspberry jam; and as we know, nothing compares to homemade jam; you use cake flour and not all purpose flour like many other recipes call for; so you can bet your bottom dollar am going to make raspberry jam and bake Linzer cookies this Holiday Season.🎄❄️⛄️
These are pretty! I'm going to try my hand at making these for my family this year. Cookie making at Christmastime is not a thing amongst Mexicans, so I'm excited to wow them with my cookie wizardry!
Hanbit, I love you so much. Thank you for always giving so much useful information & in-depth explanations. Also, thank you for having such pure personality with contagious positivity!
Hi Chef Hanbit ! i've tried your previous recipe (genoise), i suddenly feel like a pro baker after saw the result (homogenous bubble, taste good, perfect !) 😁 i hope you will share another cookies recipe for christmas time. (i wonder how to make ginger cookies in your version). Thanks ! Good luck for your channel !
HELLO FRIEND ! Where are the weights, measures, oven temperatures and necessary list of Ingredients ? Please put them up here Hanbit ? Much appreciated. I truly love and enjoy all your videos and the editing is superb, but we need the List as requested above! Stay blessed. You are adorable and truly Gifted and a joyful mentor, and Maestro ! Bravo
Wow, the linzer cookies looks amazing beautiful😋 and make me want to make that before christmas 🎄 with my daughter. Thanks Chef Hanbit for sharing another wonderful Christmas recipe! Have a wonderful Christmas 🎄Holiday! 🙏🙏🤩🥰

Hi chef Cho I am your new subscriber, right after I have watched this very first video ( to me ) from you. Thank you so much for the tips about perforated mat and how to test the jams. Looking forward to see more wonderful Xmas baking video .
My family loves those cookies i always make a huge batch of them 😊 they get eaten so fast 🙈 tried different jams but apricot jam is my favorite by far Ps : your cookies look beautiful by the way 😊

Hello chef!! Thank you for the recipe, I love these cookies! Quick question: if I wanted to make these more sturdy so that I could package them to give away, would it be better to add pectin to the jam? Or would the cookies hold as they are?
Nice video, but the way how we do it in our country is to do it 2-4 weeka before Christmas and store them in air tight container. The cookies should be soft , not crunchy ;)
Hello chef.. thank you for all your cookies recipes.... I don't have almond flour so I replaced it with all purpose flour but my cookies became very soft not even able to hold.. please help how to fix it
The linzer cookies i know (Spitzbuebe) are made with egg whites, no almond flour, and jam without solids in it..... that are the ones we get at bakeries here or are in our family recipes.
This is really awesome if you wonder. My family loves it. The jam is just incredible. I just want to ask what digital scale brand do you use because I have a hard time finding a good one
Hi Chef, I have a question. Have you heard of snow powdered sugar and would you recommend it for the final dusting of this recipe, for storage purposes? Also could this type of sugar be harmful if ingested in excess? Great video btw.
@@noahgeerdink5144 I think what he implies is that it would be easier for you to handle. It can get lumpy easily if you add liquid to the dough too fast.

The cookies look so good! Thank you for sharing the recipe. I have a question: what happens if you use whole egg instead of just the yolk?

is powdered sugar icing sugar or superfine kind of sugar ( like put in the blender kind of sugar) ?
Also that jam tip, genius.
you're right - it's fine powdered sugar.
Nice
Thanks
👌🎄👌🍀
can you make another version that suitable for beverages? ☺️
right
Hi Chef, I have a question. Have you heard of snow powdered sugar and would you recommend it for the final dusting of this recipe, for storage purposes? Also could this type of sugar be harmful if ingested in excess? Great video btw.
yeah i talk about snow sugar in my previous video (tiramisu). yeah it works here. it's not bad for you.
Question 🙋♂️: why did you add the egg in 3 parts?
it's the same as - why do you not drink a whole cup of coke in one go and take it in sips? same principle here.
@@HanbitCho hmm, I’m sorry but I still don’t get it to be honest. Is it for elegance or so you can enjoy it more?
