How come you never mention the Nike vapor elite football ? I would love to hear your opinion on that football because I see tons of colleges using that football
@@firstdowntraining are you still planning on making this video? I’m either gonna buy the Wilson gst or Nike vapor elite but haven’t been able to find a good answer yet
Whats up coach. Ive been watching your vids for a bit now. Im not in school anymore. And never did play QB but was the chosen one for my team. I just finished my first season as a QB for my adult flag football league. Your vids helped me alot. I still have tons to learn to be competitive in it. Was wondering if you had any programs to help me with that?
Hey! Just curious what football (composite) you’d recommend for an adult flag football league? I’m between the Wilson super grip and the Wilson GST composite
We will be there next year! Closest spot this year will be Los Angeles- here is the info below www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/los-angeles-ca-qb-wr-camp?referral=service_list_widget
Yeah you absolutely can, for QBs it’s tougher. It’s just not the most realistic ball to use because eventually you will have to use an actual leather ball
Hey Coach in qb does more external shoulder rotation = more power? If so , does it just come from proper sequencing? should me arm be completely relaxed in the throw
Yes- it can help with power but it’s not generally related to power. Like you can’t try to get external rotation. You get external rotation from the proper sequencing. Now some QBs lack shoulder and rotator cuff flexibility and that can be worked on which can make it a smoother process.
Yeah absolutely- would love to have you! Here is the sign up link www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/buffalo-new-york-qb-wr-camp?referral=service_list_widget

I’d say the Wilson GST, that’s the best one in my eyes
hey coach it’s me I’ve been planning to buy a gst because I want an actual leather football because I’ve only had composite ones
Yessir I highly recommend. It will last way longer and the grip is great
Could you do a camp in Arizona

Coach do you know what type of football they use at the college level, more specifically JUCO?
It all depends on the sponsorship of the school. But most schools use a “Nike Vapor Elite” ball. It’s custom made through team issue usually
Can you still get some good training with some of the cheaper balls like the “Wilson All-PRO Composite” or the “Wilson NCAA” in pro size?
Yeah you absolutely can, for QBs it’s tougher. It’s just not the most realistic ball to use because eventually you will have to use an actual leather ball
Besides feel it's just a little denser/heavier?@@firstdowntraining
Do you play both quarterback, and wide receiver?
I played both yessir, currently just coach and coach athletes
