The S25u is going to be using same 5000mah battery and 45w charging, same m13 panel that is prone to grains and only 1 of the 5 camera sensors being updated. Samsung admits to dropping the ball.
@ThePeanutHunter that's not dropping the ball, since One UI is still the best and most feature rich android skin, 45W is plenty, and the cameras are still considered top tier. Room for improvement, sure. But none of that puts them behind any other manufacturerers imo
@@spookish4167 oneui 6 is still the least smooth skin of all the big 5 android players. Feature wise and customisation wise yes it is great but it's been that way for a while. the first point im copying from my reply to another guy. About the delay : it's not a bug, it's just how things are on android and even on iPhones. So what happens is, when you move to another app, it gets loaded up from the RAM, the displayed thing you're seeing is a screenshot of the last moment the app was used, NOT the app's current state. I have a Samsung Ultra and have tried iPhones, it's the same. Maybe performance mode on the Oneplus can help it be a little faster? About the vapor chamber : a vapor chamber's task is to take the heat away from the chip and allow it to stay cooler. By dissipating more heat to the body, the phone gets hotter but the chip is actually cooler, the phone getting hotter is the exact point. Look at Gizmochina's Oneplus 12 vs S24 Ultra gaming video, the Oneplus 12 has better frames, can maintain higher performance for longer all whilst being cooler even though it uses more power. ruclips.net/video/TkHvL7v-_f0/видео.htmlsi=-7J-xH9ihBw6DJrz Watch Xiaobai's Galaxy S24 Ultra review and the Oneplus 12 review to see how Samsung compares to other android flagships. The difference in frames is not huge but there IS a difference and it's good for the chip to stay cooler. Idk how or why you think the S23/S24 Ultra are better. They throttle far worse than all chinese phones in games. About the gaming features : The frame booster ADDS frames, the game doesn't allow 99% of phones to go over 60 fps in the settings you chose, that's just how most games are. This feature allows you to add "fake" frames to give the illusion of a smoother game at little cost to input lag. The hyper resolution thing is an AI upscaler, it's not supposed to be perfect, it just tries to make things look better if you want better looking visuals. Competitive gamers don't use max settings, look at Shroud or s1mple's cs go settings. Lower settings lead to higher fps and competitive gamers need that. COD is a competitive game so you're supposed to use Low graphics with the highest frame rates. You're blaming Oneplus for using big words when EVERYONE else uses them, look at Samsung and Google with their AI things what about those? Just bashing a company for being corporate is like making fun of an army guy for doing his job. These phones are made to sell, big words attract people and sell phones. I think you're truly ignorant to have not noticed any of the obvious things and bashing Oneplus for adding features. If you want a "clean" android experience, go buy a Sony phone, let's see if you enjoy a phone with "no useless features". And bugs? I've used Samsung and iPhones and NO phone is free from bugs. How ignorant can one guy be? @@kaiserfakinaway5909 Thank you for taking so much time to share your theoretical findings with us. About the multitasking lag: what you see in the task manager is a screenshot, yes, because if all of the apps in the background were to be held 100% active then there would be chaos for obvious reasons. However, this isn't my first time holding a phone. There isn't as big of a delay on iPhones or even on some other Android phones, including the vivo x200 Pro mini, and so this means access to background apps is slower on the OnePlus 12. I may do a side by side comparison video to show that soon. About the vapor chamber, I would have stood corrected if it were actually the case in real life. First of all Warzone is playable at frame rates above 60 on many devices such as, again, the vivo x200 Pro mini, the Realme GT7 Pro or the newer iPads, so I'm not really sure what this "99% of phones" of yours even includes. Second of all, in terms of stability, I don't care about benchmarks. What I do care about is real life performance. On the OnePlus 12, after playing only one multiplayer match on warzone (about 10 minutes), the framerate drops to 60 (from 90-100 which isn't the highest to begin with) even with adaptive booster on. Besides, the phone gets scorching hot, to the point where it starts to literally burn my fingertips. Like I'm not even exaggerating, it hurts my fingertips. So here's my question: what is the point of keeping the processor a little bit cooler if it physically harms you and it doesn't even help much with performance anyways? And about using big words: I specifically mentioned Apple in the video, too. I do blame every single manufacturer that uses big statements without actually giving them meaning. For instance, Google kind of made fun of benchmark tests saying that their new Pixel 9 series were not designed to beat benchmarks but to actually offer a solid performance in real life. Yeah, when you start a demanding game, the phone starts heating up, that is exactly what the vapour chamber is for. To remove the heat from the SOC and dissipate it out trough the phones surface to the atmosphere. So the phone gets hot, but the SOC doesnt throttle.
I think some of these bugs are specific to your unit, especially that level of heating up and the lag. The OP 12 has a bi-directional vapor chamber which dissipates heath via both sides of the phone - front and back. It shouldn't be heating up that much. Mine doesn't. And the lag, while unavoidable due to RAM management, also shouldn't be as noticeable as it is on your phone. Perhaps high performance mode would help, but otherwise there's definitely something buggy with the unit itself, and it's not the first time I've heard people mention various bugs on OP 12. Most of them have however been already resolved with one of the older updates, but since yours are still there, I'd be interested to see if things get better with the stable OOS 15 update. I've just gotten it the other day and the phone is incredibly smooth, especially with high performance on and fast animations set...it works flawlessly. Btw, I'm assuming you imported your OP 12 from China since it's white. Maybe this has something to do with the Chinese model, as opposed to the EU/global one.
They'll never figure out and fix it, just upgrade to other huge brand. Every design change they approached in oos15 is not well thought out, the different panels for control panel and notification is a good change, but for such huge screen where it's hard for one to access the top part of screen what good is the new dynamic island micmic? Also it's a remedy for apple's huge camera and face id cut out, OnePlus doesn't have such cut out why then put the bandange where there is no actual wound? Why not try to come up with something new for the punch hole ?

Image upscaling (like OnePlus hyper resolution) won't improve the game assets quality, warzone textures are just that low res and no phone can do anything about it, developers fault. Also warzone mobile already uses snapdragon GSR which is an upscaler added by developers and cannot be turned off, so maybe that's why there's no difference turning on this feature on this game.

Good comments. The question I have is "How good is the x200PM in your required performance?" Also, OnePlus 12 is "flagship killer" because it is less expensive than other flagships. Then again, are your problems fixed in OnePlus 13 that is available now?
And One Plus even underclocks the processor compared to the competition . So much to save battery and nullify the true flagship performance people paid for .
@aldenthomas5317 Who said anything about benchmarks , One Plus underclocks the processor which hinders gaming experience . 12r,11,11r,12 all are not so great at gaming considering the chipset they are shipped with. Yes normal day to day tasks won't be a problem but someone who's buying it for gaming keeping the processor in mind they will be disappointed .
@@nikhildevani5938 even under clock is way faster than pixel 9 pro XL at peak performance what is your point? The pixel starts at 1099 OnePlus 12 @ 799, high performance mode is just diminishing return. Maybe if they re-brand it to Overclock mode you will feel better.
@@markgutierez9922 Pixels are the worst flagships around when you need performance . And maybe that performance mode should detect that a game is being played and enable automatically . Some brands like Iqoo offer better performance on the same processor and still manage to give almost same battery backup like One Plus ,so what's the need of underclocking a chipset and people never really get to see it's true performance if they buy One Plus .
The lag between apps is very valid, it also happens to me when scrolling comments on IG, FB, or YT, but using Warzone Mobile to test gaming performance makes no sense. That game is unoptimized trash, the Samsung Galaxy S24U can barely play it, maybe try COD mobile, or even emulators like PS2 or GameCube, I play those on my OP12 and upscale 4x resolution with smooth gameplay.
I thought this half second delay on switching apps were common. So you are telling me there are phones without this problem? My new OP12R and my previous Poco F3 have them, even using custom and lightweight roms such as lineageos

Still not acceptable as it's a high end powerful processor and mature OS. Is it an annoying bug? Yes. Is it overblown by the uploader? Probably yes. If people don't point these things out they won't be fixed.

I think everyone uses big words but at least Oneplus doesn't use big words alongside a big price tag. I'm not forgiving them, im just saying it's not AS bad as others, especially Samsung, Apple or Google.
@@CasualReviewsAK the realme GT7 pro and Vivo x200 pro mini use next gen chips my dude. You are comparing latest flagship with last years flagship
@@kaiserfakinaway5909 i have pixel 7 pro and i don't have this lag issue from this video...
@@Bartekem88 i use an s22 ultra and i can feel a lag/hitch when i multitask quickly, i tried my relatives' iPhones (15 Plus and 14 Pro Max), and the animation is so slow that it doesn't even matter in the end.
Thanks for pointing out things that pretty much nobody else mentions on their reviews. I am having trouble deciding what phone to buy next (Im still rocking a Oneplus 7t at the moment which I love btw) and your video has actually been very helpful.
Yeah, when you start a demanding game, the phone starts heating up, that is exactly what the vapour chamber is for. To remove the heat from the SOC and dissipate it out trough the phones surface to the atmosphere. So the phone gets hot, but the SOC doesnt throttle.
Tbh I can agree to a certain degree I have a OP12 and the biggest issues I had were battery and heating issues, especially since the new updates
I agree, phone looks ugly. I have OP 12 and the camera bump look like a toilet seat lid. Otherwise, it's not a bad phone.
That delay is present even on OOS 15 closed beta test.
Ohh nooo 🤦
They'll never figure out and fix it, just upgrade to other huge brand. Every design change they approached in oos15 is not well thought out, the different panels for control panel and notification is a good change, but for such huge screen where it's hard for one to access the top part of screen what good is the new dynamic island micmic? Also it's a remedy for apple's huge camera and face id cut out, OnePlus doesn't have such cut out why then put the bandange where there is no actual wound? Why not try to come up with something new for the punch hole ?
but its not a bug guys
@@venividivici1982 exactly, it's not a bug, it's just how things are on android and even on iPhones.
So what happens is, when you move to another app, it gets loaded up from the RAM, the displayed thing you're seeing is a screenshot of the last moment the app was used, NOT the app's current state.
I have a Samsung Ultra and have used iPhones, it's the same. Maybe performance mode on the Oneplus can help it be a little faster?
@@-_krish_- imagine being so butthurt over a feature you can turn off or choose not to use lol
Man, I really like your contents. Hope you update us more on color os 15 feeling and more.
I seriously like your style. I do hope you get to the point a little faster in your next video, saying that i did sub so thanks bro. Look forward to the next one!
Yeh I owned it and didn't like it at all .. Felt get awkward in the hand, and just didn't like using it
The multitasking delay is present on my s22 ultra as well, didn't notice it though (before you said it)
I also have the delay problem on my OP 11 and it's very annoying. I don't even know if it's a bug or they consider it a feature...
Weirdly enough i dont, op 11 also
Funny thing is I have a OP12 and don't have this lag issue at all. I breifly had the milt tasking delay but was fixed in earlier update.
On my 12R is something definitely wrong with system animations duration... Touches not registered while animation in progress. And it's can't be fixed via dev settings, even when animations completely turned off 😡 in some 3rd party apps touch registering works good. I found some similar reddit threads without solution. With point of view from my good old 7T its feels like 2 steps forward, but 1 huge step to the back
Good comments. The question I have is "How good is the x200PM in your required performance?"
Also, OnePlus 12 is "flagship killer" because it is less expensive than other flagships.
Then again, are your problems fixed in OnePlus 13 that is available now?
Do you think your Vivo pro mini is better than your Oppo find x8?
And One Plus even underclocks the processor compared to the competition . So much to save battery and nullify the true flagship performance people paid for .
Blud what r u using that extra 5% performance for?? I'd rather have another hour of battery life than an extra 200 points on geekbench
@aldenthomas5317 And I don't think it's just 5% gap in performance . It's definitely more than that which can be felt during gaming .
Video stabilization is abysmal with this phone compared to my S23 base model.
I love this kind of reviews pls do review for the pixel
I like your content sir...keep up the good work🫶
The lag between apps is very valid, it also happens to me when scrolling comments on IG, FB, or YT, but using Warzone Mobile to test gaming performance makes no sense. That game is unoptimized trash, the Samsung Galaxy S24U can barely play it, maybe try COD mobile, or even emulators like PS2 or GameCube, I play those on my OP12 and upscale 4x resolution with smooth gameplay.
Good video! But you should make more cuts to dine the presentation:)
Cod warzone is poorly optimized for Android so no matter which Android you play it on, it will suck
In China, the system optimization is better, only vivo and glory. System optimization of other brands is general,But I like vivo
I thought this half second delay on switching apps were common. So you are telling me there are phones without this problem? My new OP12R and my previous Poco F3 have them, even using custom and lightweight roms such as lineageos
Seems like more of an Android problem rather than the brand . Has anyone checked for the same issue on IOS device .

i believe it is to keep animations smooth, as keeping the app fully functional in the background would use lots of resources
Yet other flagships with similar specs don't need to do that

Is this video a joke???? This guy is out of his mind!😂😂😂 That was a millisecond of "delay" wtf
It's jarring when you're in workflow, and other flagships don't do that.
Still not acceptable as it's a high end powerful processor and mature OS. Is it an annoying bug? Yes. Is it overblown by the uploader? Probably yes.
If people don't point these things out they won't be fixed.
Stop nitpicking and use a computer for your "workflow" lmao it's a f**king phone for Christ sakes... My moto Edge 2023 would blow the s23 ultra out of the water for fluidity and battery life, my OnePlus 12 is better than any Samsung I've owned.
