This time we had a great opportunity to explore an auspicious temple called Kote Anjaneya Swamy Temple. The temple is situated on fort street (Kote beedhi) of Shivamogga Town and used to be Dhurvasmuni's ashram known as Dhurvasa Kshethra.
It's been worshipped through 3 eras and has a great history of about 700 to 800 years.
Lord Bala Anajanaya, Rama, and Setha are worshipped here. Devotees believe in this God Anjaneya to alleviate the Serpent bug (Sarpa Dosha). The person who visits this lord Anjanay and intakes holy water with true belief will be released from Serpa Dosha.
