Love that you give the advice for free! All the other ones are always selling a course! You are so humble!
I totally agree with you
You should pay you pay for school, you pay for church i.e donation at a minimum you should donate to him.
U took words rite out my mouth
@@RGHSHOW did you donate to him?
What’s the link for the checklist
If you ever needed an example of a person who is ‘driven’ to succeed - you’re looking at one.
am looking at a guy trying to get pulled over and fined by the DOT making videos while moving in a 20000 pound death machine
Yeah but what kind of jobs or loads with a sprinter van can you get....
@@Mrburger-um8by I hauled out of a place in Dyersburg, Tennessee. They made rubber material and they used sprinter vans all the time. I think Hexpol was the name of the rubber company.
Virtual driving?
@@ritzhandles7 hes looking PAST and over the camera thats mounted on the dashboard. He’s literally talking to ‘himself’.. its only the camera’s prospective. There’s nothing wrong here.
It's always entertaining watching hotshots back into a spot at the truck stop.
I know this guy personally and this video speaks for itself on how much he knows. God bless Alex.
I’m in the military right now. Got about ten years left to retirement. But this totally looks like something I could get into after I get out.
Heard a ton about you from other sites - you're influence definitely is spread far and wide! Appreciate the advice you give in your channel - I've learned a ton from you and the other drivers. Hot shot trucking is a fabulous industry
Ya know what would be cool - if you started to keep a running map of the USA, with all the highways/roads you’ve traveled highlighted so everyone can see where you’ve been.
All he has to do 8s check google on his phone. They keep track of ALL places visited for entire life. They are watching you.
Hi Alex thank you for the information you give on your videos. You are truly helping all the new people in our business. I have been trucking for 38 years now. Be safe and well. Ty
Absolutely a true professional. Most people won't disclose "trade secrets" without wanting compensation. Its refreshing to see someone like yourself looking out for people who want to do this. Thank you for that. I'm seriously considering doing this when I get out of the U.S. Army, because of following you and watching your videos. Keep it up brotha! Stay safe!
did you get out yet if so you decide to commit?
Where do you find loads at thou ?
How did the hustle after the Army life treat you? I've kinda been on the fence about this type of work too.
Stay safe young one, just a mom that cares ❤
No his info is all wrong. Hes those who like blockout people of their industry to avoid competition by misleading pple. Hot shot is non cdl itself. U can deliver it without prior experience in industry. Even wit cdL u still must compete for loads n its best to work under company at first with even CdL.
And that is why you are blessed sharing information with us who are struggling, and have many Facebook friends who are in the business but refuse to help others start their business and just brag about everything with their trucking business may you continue to prosper and do good things thank you so much
Man, I loved the way you started this video. I've watched tons of videos, I cannot recall of anyone, ever, doing what you did at the beginning. Well, right away that is. How you quickly said, hey, this is what I had when I started and it took a while. Many people, doesn't matter if its in this business or real estate, they try to sell you a dream. However, from the start you said this does not happen overnight. I really appreciate that, people don't tend to do that! That is extremely genuine, I just found your channel and liking the content a lot. I don't even hot shot.
Hey brother, you just passed me on I-40 in Tennessee. I was in gold f350 dually. I waved and flashed my lights. Huge fan of your page
Appreciate the info you've been putting out there on your videos. I'm learning a lot about the business.
I just ran across your channel and videos and I love the attitude, the personality, and the passion! It's really great and I can see why is producing success...keep it going brother! I've always have been interested in Hotshot and your content is super informative. Thank you!!
Glad I found this channel
I got my Cdl a year ago I got a 2019 Ford dually 37k miles right now
I been wanting to hot shot
Thanks for ur advice
I’m in San Antonio Texas
All I can say is Thank You..
This will help many.
Really glad your back. I only follow you on RUclips, I was really worried about you glad you are back
Starting the process of getting my truck and trailer to become a owner operator, your tips really helped out and opened my eyes, thanks for the info man keep doing what you’re doing.👍🤙🏼
Thank you so much!!! I’m 21 and trying to start my own business hotshotting! Thank you for the advice!
i did this for somebody few years ago, and now i want t odo it for myself. been trucking for a while now, and im really gonna start next year. got my cdl class A, hazmat as well.
Pretty cool bumping into you at the Pilot in Midway,Fl this morning. Stay safe out there bro!
Hey Alex great video, I’ve been watching your videos quite a bit to learn all I can. I recently decided to start hotshot trucking after being in supply chain for nearly twenty years. Just received notification tonight that my LLC is officially filed. Luckily the company I currently work for is selling me a truck and trailer which is going to be a great help and since I manage the fleet I know the history on the equipment. Fellow Houston Native, thank for all the info!
Hello, I was wondering how your business is doing?
First of all, I am very thankful to you for that professional hardwork video content. I never saw this kind of detailed + very professionally designed processes + simple describing. As Einstein said "If you cannot describe a thing in simple words, you did not understand it completely." But you absolutely did sir. Thank you
Alex, thank you for the raw information you provide bro...I appreciate you sharing us with out a return. God bless!
The beginning of this video instantly got my respect with the honesty
I love you bro , you’re a real one I see u want to see people make it in life. 💪🏾💯💯💯god bless
I am glad I found this video. I have a RAM 3500HD that is just sitting unused and I am looking for a career change. We bought the truck to haul an RV and ended up parking the RV and it hasn't moved in three years. I was going to sell it, but a friend suggested I look into hauling.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! New subscriber. I APPRECIATE the way you break things down in a step by step manner, and don't assume that non-drivers know what certain acronyms and abbreviations mean. I hate when people who have been doing something for years........or even decades, just assume that a novice knows certain things.
When you're teaching, you have to assume everyone is starting from absolute 0.
Ayooo you are the Goat for this video. We very much appreciate it, safe travels
Thank you for down to the max details in your videos. You'll be bless for all this information & sharing it.
Thank you for your videos we learn a lot 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks brother this is the best free advice ever and I promise to pay it forward 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾❤️💯
Very helpful video. Full of information. Im an inexperience driver. 0 experience but im looking into shot trucking next year. Been getting information the past months. 🙏🏼 thank you so much for the info.
I got my truck trailer equipment for almost hauls to be strapped down. I got cash holdings. Hoping to get a basic little setup going for me. I don’t need to pick up business fast. But, I’d love to learn this. My son wants a semi when he graduates so a name established should help him on his goal. So I’m learning this for a small part time set up for my sons future. As I should lol. Thanks for these videos so much
This the best channel to look for information to go broke from a Professional trucker real talk
Been watching since the beginning, love all the info, was going to get into it 2 years ago but backed down, can I get started with a 01 24v dually cummins 6 speed
Austin, I watched your "Start Here" video and understood the 3 different options etc. Then your next video is you have a load. I need to know the stuff in between. First, get a CDL, Second, you've decided owner Operator, then do a, after a then you do β, then δ then λ and so on
..Thanks so much!
Great information! I got setup on the website the other day. Looking forward to some driving opportunities!
I've been thinking about a career change, after being in IT for 20ish years, thanks for this information.
Potentially will be losing my job due to covid on Friday. Have truck and trailer and am interested in HotShot deliveries. Glad I found this channel. Will be doing my homework for sure.
Thanks for all you do! It is appreciated!🙏
Very professional. I love the way you stare at the camera while driving down the road.
Me and my cousin Cadin, are on this venture and we appreciate your video you have no idea
Thank you so much! I’m so confused on starting this and I’m so anxious. You really added some structure to the madness in my head with this checklist.
Same the checklist was a life saver as soon as I seen it ! Organized and layed out everything for me
Hey its been a year how much progress have you made?
Super clear and informative, hits all the key points. Thank you!!
We need more Hotshot trucking videos.
Thanks you for your honesty about the hot shot industry.
Been watching your videos recently got my own rig from working in the refineries planning on doing hotshot now when I get my own trailer
Right on brotha we all appreciate what your doing
Very much appreciate it Alex , great info, really helpful amazing job keep it up
Lots of great advice I want to be an owner operator, or do hot shot. I've been driving for 3 years now, I also have all my endorsements I am currently a company tanker driver.
I’m wanting to get involved in hot shorting so thank you man for this!
Great information getting my class A before I start .Thanks bro please keep giving us good information.Love your video's
Very humble guy, man keep it up and very informative video🤙🏽
2021 just got my llc thanks tow piglet
You don’t need 15k-20k 😭 you can start up 5k you can get a business account with enterprise and lease they trucks
Finally a great video 💆🏾♂️thank u sir! Trying to understand the business
Bruh you killed it!!! Thanks for everything!!!
This guy is great true professional trying to help people get started with Hotshot
Thank you for this inspiration I’ve been delivering food for a year and making good money but I’m thinking about taking it to the next level and I appreciate being able to have some free game thanks for making videos don’t stop your helping family’s for real
Great Video. Just make sure that you follow all of the FMCSR. Just
because you aren't required a CDL doesn't mean that you're exempt from
the FMCSR. If you have a DOT Number you have to adhere to all of the
regulations.
Great information brotha keep up the awesome work.
Great info. Check your mirrors more frequently. Every 4 seconds.
This is the best video out there. Thank you for helping out all us just starting up. Beers on me if we ever meet.
Thanks for making this video man!!
Love this video! Thanks guys!
The hardest part it seems about starting up is saving that nest egg, baby!! I'm still working on it. One day at a time
How is that going so far?
Just want to say you’ve gained a fan just from how humble you are AND how realistic you are. I’m looking to start this type of trucking as a side gig, but like you I came from a financial mess to where I am today, and I respect anyone that has also brought themselves up from that.
Do you know if a TWIC card (Transportation Workers Identification) will carry over or translate into anything that I will need to get started?
Yes you need it to pick up at the ports
I just want to add I am not trying to discourage anyone from driving. But just know it's not how it used to be when I started I never had a CDL for twenty years it was not needed hell you can still drive without one if u know how to get around dot and the CMCA and all the new laws they have stuck into this bessiness. I can't believe all the horse manure and regulation they have and almost everyone abided by them. Don't get me wrong I'm not a lawless person but the regs are just choking everyone out you all are commended for sticking with it shit I drive a pickup and trailer to haul hay from a to b and it cost me almost1. A buck twenty five a mile just in fuel no maintenance and I'll tell yea with what I'm hauling it going to cost brake pads trans maintenance and tires it's hard on a pickup to top it all off even running a day cab it would not be any cheaper the mileage is the same pulling weight the mpg goes right down to about 6 no matter how u drive having fun is more important and enjoying what u do.
Excellent video sir. I've been driving doubles for fedex freight in the northeast for 3.5 years now.....been thinking about hotshot for a little bit.....then boom! The videos start showing up in my RUclips without searching for them......a sign???? Maybe. Thanks for the content.
thanks for all this advices!! what do you think about starting with a 200.000 miles truck? Cant afford anything else right now, Thanks!!
One note on factoring companies, some will put a lien on your property, have a 1 year minimum contract and have monthly gross goals. So interview multiple factoring companies very well before you sign up. I made a list of questions and called 7 before I selected one. Great videos! Really enjoy them.
Would you share the list of questions you made or is that top secret info?
Which factoring company did you end up selecting, if u don’t mind
Apex Capital Corporation
@@kevindunn590 thank u good sir
Keep up the good work bro! Keep grinding
Thanks man love the info
Please never delete this video
Thanks for the info. I have a cleaning business but I’m considering to start hauling non-cdl soon. This was very helpful!
you did catch the section where its not technically non cdl? you need to atleast have a cdl driver for your truck.
my impression was you wer going to be driving yourself.
@@DavidMartinez-cartech no you don’t
Your channel is a huge help
Hey man, just found your channel, been driving a couple years and it's perfect for me as I'm a debt free SINK homeowner. Eventually I'll save up a pile of cash and something like hotshot might be a good place to start... The company I drive for was recently sold and I went from a loaded-only low cpm position to a significant cpm jump for every mile I drive, more than doubling my income. Thank God. Never happens right? LOL...I LOVED that you paid your driver per mile no matter what. I agree, I feel it's the right thing to do and jw if that is still the case today for you as the business owner? (Obv I'm looking eventually to not be on the road and for as much as I'd enjoy the extra cash, paying whoever I hire WELL is important to me. Reap whatchya sow kinda thing. Thanks for the info either way, it's MUCH appreciated bro. Subbed. Good luck, stay safe sir and God bless!
His hot shot trucking company shut down and went out of business last year bro.
That’s exactly what I was looking for thanks 👍
Great content!!!!! It’s amazing to see the extreme differences between you and SouthGeorgiaHotShot- Positivity vs Hopelessness!!!!
South Georgia hotshot is always complaing about almost everything...its a spiritual thing if you have no Christ then you complain about everything.
Thank you so much for sharing
We appreciate you
Wry good info 👍. You do a good job explaining the procedure 👍. Thanks🙏😎
Hey how are you doing! Love the Chanel man really love all the information you give out here really helps out alot ! Im currently getting my cdl i alright bought a tandem day cab plan on hitting the road around florida with my dot untill my mc is approved . Also opened my llc but i have a question i have a 16 f250 and i would love to start getting some experience in the road in the mean time until i finish getting my cdl. think this will actually work properly to hit the road with a 40 ft gooseneck?
I’m going to start getting prepared for this, I have just a little Ford F-150 ecoboost ,but I’ll work for my F-350 and get a trailer to start this whole thing up.
I truly hope it all goes together. Thank you for the tips
I have the same Ford F-150 also looking for the 350 for trade in not sure whether the get the dually or not
@@superiorpowercarpetcleanin9188 I have also been thinking wether getting non dully or dully but hey good luck and may god complete your wish
How did it end up working for you 1 year later? Got into the business?
I think I found the direction I want to head . Thank you
I just got my CDL to try and get a ground-man job as a lineman but always wanted to drive semis or hotshot towing… any tips or advice would help, great video!
Thanks for the info!
Thanks for the info man the wife and I are looking into buying our first flat bed, we plan to do this and grow it into our own business and pass it on to our kids.
Love what you are doing and thanks for all the info
So if I do al this checklist an have my cash I can start to drive under someone like your company? Hypothetically of course. I figured paying up a year on insurance and a bond, an having truck an trailer paid off an I do an I got the funds so now to the start up list video. Thanks sir. You got my subscription an notifications on. Well done
Thanks for sharing man!👍
Awesome videos thank you brother, question I don't see the checklist in the description?
Me either? Maybe it has been put in the course he is launching?

Great video & info 👍🏾
Ok that's what I'm talking about. The basics!
man respect for not trying to sell me crap.
Hey TP thank you for all the great advice for start up. You might have covered this already but how many miles do you average a year
Outlaw style hotshot works for a few. Shorter trailer light loads.
Hello, Alex, good information, everything good.
