Thanks for this! I found my ribbon has burned out two pins. Thery're not connecting anymore and will need to replace the ribbon cable. Do you know where I can find a replacement?
@@aaronbilling1797 are they all bunt for mine just the coating was burnt and I was able to use tape to tape them in a line. You could take apart some other electronics and see if they have a ribbon cable and cut it to the size you want.
Thanks for this. I have the exact same speaker which was not charging. After carefully examining the charging port, I found that the small ribbon inside is damaged. Am planning to repair it using the charging port of an android phone
never have i ever seen someone repair a ffc XD ahhahahahh but same issue, ffc melted but mines catastrophic by comparison, definitely a new one needed. anyway thanks for vid :)

it sounds like something is shorted you can only fix it by opening it up.
