Imagine getting a RIP Brian tattoo then having him being revived like a month later
I remember my friend at lunch told me Brian was killed and replaced with a New Yorker dog back in High School and I was pretty peeved
They didn't really want to kill off Edna Krabapple in The Simpsons, the voice actor died sort of unexpectedly, but the staff and crew all liked her so much that out of respect, they didn't get a new voice actor. They just killed her off screen.
Adam West was the best character. fight me.
Everybody gangster until the animated youtube avatar crosses its arms
The whole "killing Brian and bringing him back within a month" thing made me stop watching the show. The show is so bland and that cry for attention murdered it for me.
They almost killed him in a Season 17 episode by lethal injection, and before the scene played Brian made a joke about the internet freaking out if he dies.
Funny story, when I was 11 years old I was watching Family Guy on my own for some reason. I got to this episode and ran downstairs to my dad and my brother crying my eyes out and asking if Brian was dead. The two then engaged in a lengthy argument about whether or not Brian would actually stay dead while I sat traumatised of what I just saw. Truly a family bonding experience
“The animation is disrespectful to the character.”
Brian Griffin will respawn guys don't worry
Adding onto the south park argument.
“Once evil turned homosexual baby” is something I never thought I’d hear in my entire life
I still think Quagmire was the one that ran him over
the one dislike on the video is in fact brian griffin
I still remember how much buzz this generated when it aired. I was in high school, and I had finally started to actually watch the show often and enjoyed it for what I saw. Then this episode came along, and even friends at school were making a fuss about it.
Honestly, when it came to Brian, another reviewer Rowdy C from TV Trash put it better than anyone else. When Brian first began he was arguably the most likable character since he was a stable voice of reason and a go to person for advice in a wild and wacky world that made the older Family Guy so likable. When the show was revived however, McFarlane turned him from a level headed character with his own flaws into nothing but a mouth piece to spout his social and political views. Seth's biggest problem was that he doesn't know how to be subtle about these things which made Brian become so unlikable, and his excuse to kill him off like this was just a big middle finger to the long time fans not liking the direction he took the show and this character. This whole episode was only his way of saying "Listen to what I say, or I'll do it again until you do!" which comes across as smug and selfish. Quite sad as I used to be a big fan of the show up until the 5th season when I lost interest. Knowing how badly it has been dragged down is really pitiful.
Whoever did that imitation of stewie was really good holy crap
Brian just loaded his last save point guys don't worry.
also another thing why kenny's death worked is that 1: he was dead for an entire season 2: His death actually played into the storyline of season 6 and 3: when he was brought back it wasn't treated as some big grand epic moment it was just like, oh hi kenny.
