the photograph problem is misrepresented here: it's a journalism problem, not one of taking pictures generating distance. cameras are considered the key factor responsible for crime reduction in the last decades.

It was existing long term and severe Clinical Depression, heavy drug use, incessant debt then the criticizing questioning of not helping his photo subject on top of everything else that killed Kevin Carter NOT solely the aforementioned questioning.

It is so important to help others because we can live better, yet way too many people are selfish...

If you have intervened in the past and received consequences each time you intervened(physically, emotionally, financially etc) then it is less likely that you will continue to do so. Things are incentivized inappropriately

She was being untruthful about the kitty case. Only one person actually saw the girl get stabbed, in addition to that, a few people called the cops at the beginning of the attack. They just didnt know that the girl had been stabbed.

Well, not very many people saw the stab, but that's a very small moment, isn't it.

It is true that some people did call the police, but the New York Times and psychology textbooks reported a version who no one called for help. The presenter was not being untruthful, her sources were.

I’ll tell you exactly what the problem is… nobody knows who they are. If you don’t know who you are you don’t know how to react in situations. You can’t think for yourselves so you gotta see what the other sheople are doing to make your own decision. Its all about caring what everyone thinks of you and not what you think of you. But dont get me started.

why don't they respond? "... these people are kind, these people are caring..." no. they are not. they are by and large flying monkeys if they are adults from this culture.
