Got a replacement vanity mirror set for my MB R129; quick and smooth transaction, got the part delivered in 10 days to Italy, took a couple of minutes to instll, it fits perfectly.
Thank you. I'm struggling with the colour choice for this and various other interior trim parts from your site! Is it cream, cream-beige, creme-beige, light beige, tan, mushroom, parchment or champignon?. According to the VIN, my car interior colour code is Leather-Beige (265) - on an A124 1994-08 E320 UK Delivery.
Mushroom, parchment, beige, tan, and champignon are all the same color. They would be our "Mushroom/Tan" color option. Mercedes had a few different names for just about every color, which makes it confusing. Color code 265 is our mushroom for sure though. Cream beige is what we call "Shell" but it was also called sun yellow. When seen in person, it is not comparable to the mushroom color as it is much brighter. It also was an interior color for the R129, I don't believe there are any A124 models with this color interior.

The sun visor light gets the power from wiring through the visor itself. The small rod on the end of the sun visor (that attaches to sun visor clip) has an electrical connection that powers these lights. This sun visor clip has wiring that feeds from the dome light console above the rear view mirror.
Well, it is 6 months latter now and just ordered mine finally and was re watching the install video I am going to leave mine in the car I will let you know how things turn out when I get them installed
I got it to work. When it was installed into the visor, the cover wouldn’t open. So I messed around and the lever to activate the switch was hitting the backing, so I shaved it down with a razor so it can open now.
@@cloutfoam9783 Perfect, that is actually the first time we have heard of that so it's good to know. Unexpected things tend to happen sometimes when working with 30+ year old cars!

Thanks for the video and mirror part. Be sure that the metal strip that turns on the light is kept out of the way when snapping the mirror in place.

A trim tool would ne better to use , than a small object.

can it be done with the visor in the car or do you need to remove?
It's not required to remove the visors but it definitely is easier to work with if they are off.
