Following their career, I have to say this album is raw but already shows the signs of what a great band they would become. All that while being a very good album After their second album, which I think should be the one reviewed, I started gathering their Singles for their b-sides which were amazing.
Placebo, and their debut in particular, are not for everyone. To me, it’s one of my favorite albums ever. In some way, it’s a pretty basic power trio formula album, but there are also a lot of interesting texture guitar moments in here. It’s an album that needs multiple listens to appreciate it. They definitely perfected this sound in WYIN.
Could you reupload his reaction to imprinting from the world ends with you? I cant remember the timestamp unfortunately but it was from this same stream

The Gen Z’ers in the comments are making me cringe really bad, though.
I love this album and Placebo. I discovered them through this stream actually, I was present
Very pleasantly surprised he likes this. Proof that a broken clock is right twice a day
Thanks for leaving the songs with normal sound
This is an all time great album.
Did you catch his reaction to Glenn Branca's album The Ascension? Was great seeing it live.
