The only feature that feels like a significant upgrade is the overhauled browser. The rest mostly consists of cosmetic changes and devices that should be sold separately.
Was this a sarcastic joke? New devices are always welcome instead of being sold separately. poytone and the ripley delay seem pretty awesome. He didn't mention it here but they apparently overhauled the soundbank. The sequencer updates are the major news here for most users.
@@trackmasters65 What exactly has been updated in the sequencer? I haven't seen anything except the MIDI ramp, which is just a function and not really part of the sequencer. seeing the new browser I kinda regret not updating from 11 to 12, so I could have Mimic\Combi2\VST3 but not have that shitty browser that is barely usable on a laptop and even in the RackVST.
You can. BUT not on same screen. If you split out the rack and mixer you can scale up the app, then increase the resolution of each screen to adjust relative scaling. But I agree it would be good ti be able to scale each element independently - esp on a laptop! Also being able to group and collapse tracks/mixer channels would be handy too to save screen real estate on large projects.
Regarding sequencer update, I think it's a good first step in the right direction. Hope they'll keep this focus on workflow for the whole Reason 13 lifecycle and add new features like e.g. track folders etc.
