I literally have over 100 wigs!!! Human and synthetic. Yes I am a wig fanatic! Got it from my Grandmother. God rest and bless her soul. I'm also glad I didn't throw them away. I have wigs over 10yrs old. Still hangin in there. Thank you for sharing!!! It's WELL WORTH EVERY SECOND!!!❤💯
Amazing! This is right on time for me. I protective style with wigs from around thanksgiving to spring to protect my hair from the harsh Chicago winters. When I put my wigs away last spring, I was so glad to be done with them, I didn’t do any maintenance on them, so I know they look rough. Sir, I have trichotillomania and sometimes I need to wear weaves or wigs. The thing is my head is big so I don’t spend a lot of money on wigs in case they don’t fit. So I always opt for synthetic. This video is truly a life saver for me and my confidence thank you!

So glad I found your channel. We buy abandoned storage units and this last one had close to 100 wigs and other hair pieces in it. Stink! Oh my and not taken care of. Vinegar actually removes every stench to which I have challenged it. It also has a softening agent to it. 1 cup of any vinegar in a load of clothes removes all the smells you discussed. No fabric softener needed. Towels stay more fluffy and absorbant. Wig stench is removed! No vinegar smell left behind.
I'm totally intrested in this option to remove smell but which kind of vinegar or does it matter? I usually use the Apple Cider but this is my first time going to try restoring my synthetic hair. I don't want to use the wrong vinegar, lol. Thanks for the tip!

Just a hint, the longer you let it soak in fabric softener the better it works. Let it soak a few hours and use more fabric softener, like maybe two caps fills, you may change your mind about fabric softener on synthetic hair.

😂😂😂 I usually throw out my old wigs when they look even slightly worn out.. maybe more worn if I really like them. But recently I've found my million dollar wig😅. I love this wig so much, it's all I wear, kept going back to the beauty supply store till they ran out. Now I'm looking online and I can't find the colour I want for the life of me so I decided to revive the old wig to it's former glory which I how I found your channel. I didn't know synthetic wigs could last 3 years. I was just throwing around money like a dummy🤦🏿♀️. Anyway, knowing nothing about restoring a wig, I've learned some things. Not only do you make me laugh but I learned a totally new way for caring for my wigs. I've bought synthetic wigs in the past and found myself keep spending money on them after they got matted and messy.
I always wonder how I can restore them like new after they get matted and you showed the way. Thanks! I don’t do GMOs, and I eat in more of an Eastern fashion, where the veggies are the largest portion, the meat is the side, if I choose to do meat at all. I can’t handle greasy or fatty foods, they make me physically ill.
I so needed this video. I kid you not, Ordered a wig from a well known company and I promise you it came to me like this. I won't say their name but let's just say it wasn't one of those companies that you pay $20 dollars for it and get a $20 looking wig. I was soooo pissed. You get this nice pretty box with the wig wrapped in this pretty tissue paper. I opened it and TRASH...….Anyway, maybe this technique will help me get the wig back to what I expected.
