Yes,fabric softener is a much better option. Conditioner does not go on synthetic hair. Because what are you actually conditioning? LoL. it's not going to penetrate synthetic strands. That's for human hair wigs and tracks.
But fabric softener works wonders because of the material synthetic fibers are made from.

Just one quick thing, though. You don't need to put conditioner on synthetic hair. It literally does nothing for the fibers because it's synthetic. Fabric softener would be a better option for synthetic hair.
Conditioner is for your own hair and for human hair wigs or tracks, since it can actually penetrate and condition the strands.
It does nothing for synthetic hair and is actually a complete waste on synthetic hair. I always cringe when I see people putting real products on synthetic hair, not realizing they are wasting their time and the product.

You could detangle, straighten and curl again. It takes time though

Yes. Straightening and re curling should do it. So sorry for the late reply.

You can set the hair in perm rods or rollers and then dip it in boiling hot water and the curls will come back. You can even use different sized rollers if you wish to change the curl pattern completely.

Depends on how hard youre brushing. syntehic be gentle and follow the curl patten, like she said . Also if its synthetic, see if you can put heat on it but ONLY low heat. (Id do a test on a piece of hair first) . If its human hair it should stay but it might be wavy, you can always recurl.
