Used to watch you on x3 and 3D back when I was in college. Only made it to Cal-Main with Sinister7. Then had to quit CS for my career/degree. Great to see you still around and doing big things in the scene...

One aspect I haven’t seen you touch on is how subconsciously lean forward/back during intense/high stress situations. I found recently that I tend to slowly lean away from the monitor which is the worst possible time to change your natural position. Scientifically I think it’d just an autonomic fight/flight response to stressful situations. Might be worth looking into for your next video
will try it out sir.. my aim is extremely inconsistent to a point where i just altf4 and dont play the game for a a week or so. it gets so frustrating because i've spent hours in the range practicing. thanks a lot for your tips!
You spent only hours? And then play a little and quit for weeks? That is not the way to go. You have to spend days and weeks training aim at first, also train your aim while moving around, flicking or tracking without moving may help at the very begining when you are getting a grip of how to, but if you dont integrate aiming while moving, when you play your game, you will feel you trained for nothing
@@terry- That’s also not a right way to go. As for me I’m doing my aim lab 30 minutes playlist of training 3 time a day (morning, afternoon, evening) for 3-4 years or some already. That’s what helps you to develops your own aim formula and also train muscle memory.
Thanks for this video Rambo, I have been gaming like this in a compact way for Years and my friends called it weird and said that it held me back, but now I am confident to have this style of aiming.
i recently found this channel, and i've noticed that all the videos that keep popping up (as recommended) are really well thought through and informative. really enjoyable. I wish all youtube videos were so succinct
Nice content, as always! I've tried this before and, as for me, I know it doesn't work for 2 main reasons: 1 - I need to place my chair too high compared to my table, and this enforces me a bad posture 2 - When I'm holding my mouse too close to my body, I can't grip it properly: it feels like my hand is "rotated" or "turned" clock-wise, so I can't get a nice and tight grip on it Unfortunatelly I'm still trying to figure out how to improve consistency when aiming by trying different postures, but even after some months, I couldn't find the "perfect position"
The first point you mention could be fix if you have the top of your monitor in the same high of your eyes, the problem with is, is that many monitors doesn't have adjustable high I don't know english very well
@@diegogomez2639 Yes I agree with you, maybe positioning my monitor properly might fix the first issue. Unfortunately the one I have is not adjustable, but I've been thinking about buying a support
@@LennethValky19 Just put some books underneath your monitor. No need for an adjustable mount/stand, plus it's free. You could use anything really as long as the monitor stays leveled. Or you could just get a monitor riser for like $10 lol

To get to this position, your legs should go all the way done under your desk, also you have to get the perfect chair height or you will feel discomfort in your arm.
I put the lumbar pillow on my right arm rest so that it can rest in level with the desk. The movement is only at the pivot of the elbow. That way i dont have sweaty pits lol
Just wanna mention that anything you are not used to do will feel strange in the beginning so it might take time to get comfortable with this position but scientifically speaking it is so true you will feel improvement to your aim, it is like a fixed hing which is more predictable than a spring if you know what I mean!
This seems to make vertical flicking tougher, can you give us some tips on vertical flicking. It’s not something I see very often and would love to learn more.
Well csgo has basically none of that. You should see what quake/overwatch pros say. (I know this isn't a csgo specific channel, but for the specific question I think you'd be better off with specific content)
Second aiming style uses 2 joints instead of 1. This makes aiming in general harder. However, using aiming style type 2 will give you a possible higher accuracy maximum since you can adjust your aim 2 ways. Just my thoughts
it feels like a bit of a stretch on my arm to do this, not my shoulder. like my (right) arm wants to tilt to the right. must mean i need to do this position more often over time to get used to it and stretch more?
Dear Ron Rambo Kim, I just feel like that would limit the vertical movements, unless I'm playing with higher sensitivity. I like the idea though, bringing an easier to replicate gaming position. I'm playing more warzone now, I understand that for games like csgo and valorant this might be easier to do. What are your thoughts on this? (In games like Warzone where you need to aim upwards and downwards many times during the game)
I think their is a lot of variables to take into consideration. However, I do understand what you are postulating. I like flared, kinda feels like I'm "shifting gears" on a car.
I don't know if it's a good thing but I find when using this technique I can use my elbow on my body as the pivot point meaning that I can move a tremendous amount of mouse reasonably consistent
Can't really fully do this pos. since I have very low sense and I need a wide area so I can freely flick 180. I do keep my arm pits fairly closed for small-medium tracking, only opens when I have to do that big flick to a target.
I have run into the problem of when im sitting in this position my arms feel a lot of tension in my forearm especially when I grab my mouse as it feels like im foring my hands to be flat with the desk
Hi Ron I've been following you since I started playing on pc, You are great. I followed a lot of your advice. I often have problems with the chair. Do you have any advice for a good ergonomic chair, even for posture? Thanks so much
My Chair (AkRacing) cant be high enough for this position to sit at a 73cm Desk :/ thats a bit Sad , i just go the syndrom of constantly aiming mostly showed in Aimlab how incosistent Iam.

I have this type of posture when gaming, its been nice for consistency. But, when swiping outwards (to the right) it is quite uncomfortable and forceful. That is one aspect I dont enjoy
Hello. I have a problem. Maybe you can help me. I've been playing shooters for a long time. I don't have a bad aim, I practice shooting a lot before games and play a lot of DM matches. But in every game, everything comes up against the same problem, when I start a real game - when contacting an opponent, I squeeze my hand incredibly hard, which makes my aim completely different. Much worse.
But i see many streamer (or most of em) have wider arm placement (flared out epbow) and dosnt even have 90° elbow angle but still have godly aim ..how ???is that harder to do ?
Hey I tried it out but with the disconnected one: I marked a part of my mousepad where my arm goes to; to remember the position and it helpt me a lot 10h after it feels great aim is little bit more consistante and the flicks are to thanks bro
