Lol u should of shot the monitor it can't die but it says funny things when u try to kill it. The monitor speech of I'm a genius is programmed to repeat non stop so me and friends used to keep firing at it while we waited for it to open doors
37:52 those big puffy guys are called “Carriers”. They are mainly use to make and pop out more of the Infection forms aka “poppers”. And be careful of those guys. They can blow up grenades on the floor too if they are near them. 😊❤️

Jonesy is really fascinated with friendly fire so much that when there's not even friendly units to mistake for enemies she'll just casually start throwing grenades to walk on top of.
I've been loving your playthrough so far! One little suggestion I'd put forward is to look up a bit more. Especially in future Halo games. The environments are wonderful and there is always something cool to look at. Plus, it will also help get some more head shots in. :)

10:11 The devs wrote in code for the flood so that a certain percentage will revive after they appear to have been taken out. It’s not all, but it is not an insignificant percentage.
Shotgun + Pistol combo is the best combo. Shotgun for up close and pistol for range. You won’t have much strength with the little infecty boys but you can always just bonk them with your gun.
I know you already did a first walkthrough of GTA v. But you are an awesome player, and I would love to see you take the rags to riches challenge in GTA v.
The library was one of my least favorite levels back in the day, enemies are more numerous in the harder levels. But it's one of the more challenging I give it props for that. lol.
The flood is one of the most if not the most terrifying game anatagonist. I'd love if you'd watch some of their game lore and see how interesting they are. Nice gameplay😁
I understand your frustration Jonesy, "The Library" is one of the worst levels in the history of video games: dark, repetitive in design, 4 types of repeated enemies and huge empty areas. Also it doesn't show anything interesting, it's supposed to be a gigantic laboratory/warehouse of Flood specimens but in reality it's just a bunch of corridors that make the player walk in circles. The worst thing is that if you lose sight of "343 Guilty Spark" you will end up getting lost in these huge rooms from which many times the Flood will come out almost infinitely. The "remastered" graphics have flaws, but at least in this level they try to illuminate a little the areas where you have to go and place signs so that the player does not lose time and interest. P.S. I find it strange that you are about to finish the game and as far as I have seen you have not used the charged shot of the plasma gun or the explosion of the needler.

If you were bored of the Library for it's overly long and repetitive hallways, to the point of not wanting to keep playing...you wouldn't be blamed for it; this mission only stands out for how boring it is, conceptually. Plus, it's tough on harder difficulties with how many enemies are thrown at you. In the last mission (343 Guilty Spark), there was at least good build-up: an air of mystery and creeping horror with a found footage cutscene, and then the introduction of the Flood (one of the scariest sci-fi zombie creatures created in science fiction) and had you fight to escape. The Library is like the developers ran out of ideas when developing it. Getting through it makes you wish for a skip button. *One eternity later...*

Jonesy at 53:10 : "Just, a bit of health would've been a bit nice" She says as she walked 2 steps to the left of a health pack less than 40 secs ago. (52:31 - bottom of the screen) To be fair, that is a terrible place to put a health pack and she isn't the first player even among the few who have uploaded their playthrough to have missed that. It's just around a turn as enemies show up and underneath a body. There's too much going on in the level to notice it even as you are actively looking for it, especially in the remake's graphics. It's a bit easier to find it in the OG graphics but then you lose the arrow markers.
After a point, playing the library becomes therapeutic. You literally turn your brain off and shoot. You don't have to worry about doing some story thing, you literally ignore the monitor's babbling, and you are constantly greeted by the satisfying sound of the shotgun. The first time around its a nightmare though

Like you didnt notice (cuz new graphics makes it so you can barely tell) but after you say "Shotgun for the big guys" and head down the elevator, theres just loads of grunt blood smeared all over the walls on the way down

Just getting to this today. My car was in the shop for over a week. Got it back today and went on a much needed drive with the windows down to get out of the house and breath in some fresh air. It was glorious.
Hey jonesy! How you doing? Yes indeed, the library is most certainly flooded😂 I personally get why you didn’t like the library mission is like nam flashbacks for halo players. Tbh you made it even harder every time you fell back to “safety”, because many spots in this game spawns flood enemies indefinitely Glad you had the full library experience though, you got yourself cornered, sometimes you got startled by flood just attacking your rear😂 and you got killed by rocket flood (flood wielding rocket launcher) and even at some point you asked for “more”😂 the game basically said “say no more” Scared of the flood already jonesy? Now even though you haven’t finished the game you can say that you basically experienced everything

Yes Shotgun & assault rifle combo is the best against the flood. Shotgun for the big guys, assault rifle for the little guys.
Ar is trash against the flood, the magnum pistol is better.
@@J_Bum AR is only for the poppers, they die in one shot, and the AR carries a lot of ammo so you don’t waste your shotgun ammo.

Nope shotgun and pistol is the best I never waste bullets on infection forms anyway just melee them or let them go pop on the shields.
