To be fair, it is a pretty big thing to keep to yourself. I’m sure three out of four of them found it too heavy to bare on their own and needed someone to talk to. Let’s face in, none of them can really confide in each other. As for Sheldon, he can’t keep a secret because of a combination of pride and overthinking.

They actually talk about that in another scene. Mary says she wants to be furious with him but they cant when they did the same. The age difference does make practical issues different for Georgie than his parents but they are very aware they went through the same thing.
What are you talking about? Georgie LIED to the girl about his age. His relationship with Mandy was BUILT on a lie whereas George Sr and Mary, I'm assuming, didn't have any secrets and George Sr didn't deceive Mary. They just got pregnant. It happens. But Georgie lied to a girl just so he can have sex and kept lying in order to continue the relationship. Nevermind how it must feel for the girl to have been knocked up by a 17 year old and how people would see the whole thing. Since she's older, people would assume she was chasing after a kid. Ew. Just this entire storyline is disgusting and cringe but that seems to be the new trend these days so... What really gets me is how Mary is only thinking about how much of a sin it would be if the child was born out of wedlock instead of how horrible it would be to force a girl to marry the guy who deceive her into having sex and then knocking her up.

What you’re forgetting is it’s not the most important thing for Mandy and Georgie to get married they both have to be willing and genuinely love each other. You don’t get married because you have a child you get married because you love each other. If not, there’s no point and it is not their decision not the church not Mary’s theirs!

I think it’s important for parents to educate kids about sex so that they will less likely to have unplanned pregnancies. It’s important for kids to know about contraception and how to practice safe sex.

I think Mary should stop giving a shit about what anyone thinks, God included.
I would not look down on God like that. If you actually study the religion then you would understand why it's important to make God proud. He isn't like you or me or anyone else. He is this entity that we CAN put our trust our faith in without any drawbacks, but at the same time God wants us to become better and not expect him to do all the work, hence the challenges that we face every day.
If anything, Mary has let God down and doesn't exactly understand him or the religion (which many people even in the religion, and others like you who look down due to some nonsense, has failed to understand)
Long story short, quit blaming God for everything, he is not responsible for you and if you take up responsibilities for your own actions, you would live a happier life.

Thing is though it doesn't matter if you can trust God or not, the consequences of your own actions affect you all the same and if you keep doing terrible things, believing in God won't improve your life. Accountability might.
