One of the most fun and wholesome cartoons of the 80's that often taught very good lessons to kids, like how to pick family over money and not to let greed control your life. There's one episode in particular where Scrooge specifically picks his nephews over his money because they mean more to him.
Point being: Leave Duck Tales the fuck alone, Mary!
Could also easily say "He loves adventure, the money is his reward"

About how I damn near was when I started making a paycheck. Christmas, holidays and birthdays kinda list some meaning of whole gift thing because I could get what I wanted finally for a change rather than depend on someone else to maybe get it for me. For first time in my life actually was able to get what I wanted! I only took til was 17.
