Cool information you shared here. As a speculative customer for both bikes I was curious for the potential progression of power available to the 60. I think it's a smart option, particularly for those whose insurers offer lower rates for engines under 1,000cc.
I'm looking at Scouts, but I would want a performance package that would make the bike have a powerful midrange, like up to 6,000 rpm. That is where I would like to ride. Now I know that it would not be the fasted modification to make as the most power can be gained at the higher rpm, but like it's been said, "It's not how fast you go, it's how you go fast." I would rather have the power to do some decent roll ons at mid rpm. That's the performance I would like. Everyone has their own ideas about performance. This would be mine. Then again, if that is the kind of power I like, maybe I should be looking at Harley. I don't know.
There is no way you could EVER get me to choose a Harley over an Indian. I've ridden many Harleys, and have yet to be impressed by one that didn't have thousands of dollars in mods. They are a dog not to mention higher cost of a maintenance. The scout really gets woken up by the pcvx and will have amazing performance. You will be happy with it. Cheers!
I got the PV4. My 2016 Scout 60 feels like an entirely different bike. Just amazing.
It's shocking
I'm watching every Scout/60 video I can to help me decide between the 2 models. You might have me sold on the 60. Thank you.
Well you answered all my questions 😁 thanks!!
Love the video I just got my tuner looking forward to seeing a difference I have a stage one factory kit on it
How did you go ?

Nice!!!🤘
Mostly peaceful lol nice video. Considering the PV3 for my 60
Definitely wakes it up!
Do you have a high performance intake on the bike ?
I do! It's the one from Indian.
What bike were you pulling on!? I'm looking at this bike. Wounding what it beats !
Harley 1400 soft tail
@@JimmyLeeTennessee you mean the 114?
No I mean a 1400cc soft tail, its like an 06 model.
@@JimmyLeeTennessee ahh I was hoping you were pulling on the 114 lol
@@6u66a im sure i would. There's not many cruisers faster than the scouts...

Not sure if I misread your question or not, but there's no way you're gonna ride at 6k rpms on a scout or a scout 60 lol you'd be going MEGA fast
U were probably pulling on a Harley twin cam 1450/ 88 CI. U should be able to outrun that easily.
How old is your Sixty? Have you 60mm (to 2018) fuel injection bore or 54mm (from 2018).
I believe it is the 54, im not not too sure on that one. It's a 2019.
Scout 60 has 54mm TB. Scout 69 has a 60mm.
@@davidefland1985 would adding a 60mm to the reg scout do anything?
@@etishbite456 I’m sure if it can be fitted. Im sure it would have to be programmed for it to.
So do you think the speed limiter has been removed now?
You were "pulling" on it huh? While you were riding? TMI, TMI 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Doesn't everybody?😂
