He was a prince on the North Shore growing up. Suffice to say, Nobody in their right mind would ever dare cross him for fear of the consequences from folks associated with him. Brother definitely has earned his reputation as a really good surfer and a big wave rider. He is an excellent waterman. But we'd all be a lot better if we got to take all the waves he got (and gets) at prime spots. But it's cool. No disrespect, Makua, to you and yours. @@mickc3423 20-40 years ago, the North Shore was the wild west with lots of territorial issues. With some fairly heavy duty players people knew not to cross. Not going to name individuals or groups. Suffice to say, most guys knew who was in line ups and who not to call out when they dropped in on you. Or even paddle for if they wanted a wave.

This year I've mastered inline skates, but if there's one thing I want to do, it's to learn to surf. I would welcome a challenge from one of you who surfs somewhere in Europe and would be interested in me at least marginally. Life is so fast, Duties. Family. Children. And somehow there was no time left for me and my desires.
You know where there is a good big wave ? On a big West swell Anaehoomalu Bay has a A frame peak right out in the middle of the Bay. Rights and Lefts off one peak.
