Dwight’s cousin Mose is Michael schur a very successful writer producer from snl. He wrote and produced for the office and went on to co create parks and rec besides others shows.
I don't know how I managed to miss this detail after all this years of re-watching, when Jim calls to speak to Kevin the window next to him as well as the window in Josh's office show that it is still daytime and when they're speaking about the movie it is nighttime
I really like how you guys talk on your feelings about the episode and your expectations for where the show is going after the reaction part. A lot of reactors just say "that was funny, bye!" which is fine, but I do prefer to see some discussion and get people's views on what they just watched, I just feel like getting other people's perspectives helps me appreciate the show more. I hope you continue doing the after talks! 😊
Speaking of writers, Ryan, Kelly, and Toby are all writers on The Office. They show writing credits during the intro and after some time you can start to pick up who wrote it without looking at the credits. Also, Ryan and Kelly dated in real life. They're no longer together but they're very close friends (which makes some of their scenes even funnier).
I think it’s important to think of Stanford as the bizarro version of Scranton. Seeing these versions of people we/Jim already knew in a slightly offputting context. Andy does mirror Dwight in these episodes but he has anger issues. he doesn’t respond to pranks in a funny way it’s taken to an extreme. Karen Is interested in him but doesn’t connect to him in the same way that Pam would. Josh the boss is dynamic and funny but he doesn’t care about the employees. It’s a super interesting thing to watch to take characters that we love and tweak them so slightly to promote growth in Jim

Back when this stuff first aired and the dvd commentaries came out, I believe the head honchos said they wanted to make jim and pams relationship stuff be as real/natural as it would be if it happened in real life. So, as tough as it was to watch at the time being sooooo drug out, it does seem a very natural progression etc as a real relationship would be if it had those hurdles.
Guys if you're looking at doing another Colledge Football Reaction... There is one that shows what going to a game is like, starts with the tailgating, the stadium, the entrance, bands and halftime show... of a typical game. It gives you the excitement, passion of what to expect going to a game. It's called 'British Reacts to Their First SEC Football Game - TEXAS vs GEORGIA!'
the thing is, from a writing standpoint, a character arc standpoint, it makes total sense. sure, they could be together.....but just you watch how it all plays out.
Seems like a rare opinion. A good character, yes. The best, no way. He was only in 14 episodes out of 201, 7%. The show would've still been great without him, can't say the same about if some other characters weren't on the show.
At first, I was so annoyed by Andy seems like such a forced character but he kinda grows on you……the actor is quite good but there is something about him which makes you feel so irritated like it would be better without him🤣🤣🤣

They also forced him to grow a real neck beard for his first appearance as Mose.
The Good Place which is his masterwork. Apparently his new Netflix series is good too.
Yeah he hated playing Mose but always did it. One of my favorite characters.
@@CrowTRobot Just coming in to say this. “THE GOOD PLACE” is AMAAAAAAAAAAAZING.
@@johntaylor7029 was that only for the first appearance? I thought he had it throughout the entire run of the series whenever he appeared

You've gotta love how the solution to the squeaky chair isn't just to oil the squeak. Nope. That would be too simple.
Love this!! You make a good case 😅 Appreciate the comment!

Rainn said if the character “worked” in the annex, it meant the actor who played them was also a writer on the show; thought that was a cool fun fact.

Stanley. Pretzel day should be a holiday.
I 100% back this!! Appreciate the comment!
I like this episode because it starts new character direction in several people in preparation for the season’s big storyline.

Weird how much Shrute's farm in Pennsylvania looks exactly like Newhall, California.
