I never saw Coney Island but my folks took me to Riverview until it closed in 1967.
Why doesn't today's carnivals and amusement parks have rides like that anymore... Some of them look a lot of fun

caniceful. mine too. It was fun to watch the people coming off the steeplechase horses being chased by the clowns. Rides were fun and beautifully constructed, not plastic.
