They should start implementing burning of axies that are not that competitive in the arena, getting back the SLP/AXS used so that people can breed again the axie noting that the parents increased breed count + the 5 days hatching of the egg can still prevent the dumping of alot of SLP. These changes would be good if PvP were something fun and enjoyable but unfortunately It's not. It was already a pain to complete the five wins of DQ. Reducing DQ reward was completely unnecessary.
Short term this will be bad for the economy. Less SLP generated(higher breeding costs) and lower utility for 95% of Axies(less value generated). Sky Mavis needs to focus on catching botters rather than cutting rewards. AXS doubled which completely mitigated the reduction in breeding costs. Hopefully, they will roll out the Axie burning and additional utility quickly. Otherwise, the play-to-earn aspect is questionable which could kill the game. I feel sorry for the people in poorer countries who just had their income halved.

People purchase axies which is the product of the game. Of course, if sales drop to zero there will be no business.

This seems like a ponzi scheme because the only monetary source for the players is their own monney being poured in. If the game for example would have advertisement...that would be a much better monetary source, that the game itself could use to pay for the prizes.

Best plan. Maybe level up your Axies a little, but earning 50 SLP in adventure isn't hard after you're out of energy.

One of the reasons is that it was very expensive to breed because of how much AXS gained in Value, so less burning of SLP.
