You know, if you're gonna do a demo of an acoustic guitar, you should unplug it and actually let us hear what the acoustics sound like. This is more about the amp than the actual guitar! C'mon dude!
Sounds terrible! Distortion!! why is it so many acoustic guitar reviews use poor mics (video cam rubbish) or overloaded DI'd? get a zoom Q3 or something with a decent mic/preamp!
It is correct to refer to these guitars as TACK-A-MINE not TAKA- MEENY as i have heard many half wits refer to them, abviously bottom feeders which we true players don't need
@electroharmonix not true. people pronounce things in different ways depending on where they're from. for example, toe-may-toe. ta-ma-ta. poe-tay-toe. pa-ta-ta. all correct.
This sort of reviews is unfaire - you certainly must demonstrate us a natural sound of the guitar - without any pick up. And then - plugged, but tell us, which the mic and the amp are
Nice demo of a great quality guitar. I choose Takamine over all other brand names. But if you're going to sell these guitars, don't you think you should learn how to pronounce the name of the company? It's pronounced Tak-a-mee-nee.
actually it's たかみね; ta-ka-mi-ne, ta(た) ka(か) mi(み) ne(ね). tak-a-mee-nee sounds like an american trying to pronounce it and end up like "take-a-mini!" lol.
robbzkel Well, that's a bit nit picky to tell you the truth. Takka-Mine, the way he says it, isn't even close. You would think someone in the business of selling this brand name of guitars would at least make an effort to get the pronunciation somewhere in the ballpark. There's no need to make it Japanese-perfect, but why not give a shot at a bit of accuracy. I am a Takamine guy through and through. It just seems a bit of a waste for a Takamine salesperson to just phone it in like that.
yeah, indeed. He also spelled it TAKAMIME in the banner in the video! :D with an M instead of an N. I'm actually looking for a guitar right now. I've been looking towards Crafter GAE-8/N and takamines for about 300-600€. Do you have any recomendation?

Japanese name- closest way to pronounce it , is the way bottom feeders pronounce it - meenie
if its Eg440c doesnt have solid spruce top ...
Ta-ka-mi-ne..... Ta-ka-mine.... Take mine... Taka... whatever floats your boat. More important for it to suit your playing style - that you enjoy it.
It's pronounced Ta-ka-mee-nee.

Showing an electroacoustic guitar with a few efects thrown over its sound... it's not showing us "how the guitar sounds" ... just saying.
This sort of reviews is unfaire - you certainly must demonstrate us a natural sound of the guitar - without any pick up. And then - plugged, but tell us, which the mic and the amp are

The amp (or the way the amp is used) must be shit. The bass sounds great, the treble is like vomit. Not the guitar's fault, must be the amp's.
sounds very bright not much bass.....and such a pity you dont play it first unplugged .........as thats what most people want to hear
id prefer to hear it not plugged in...
It's Ta-ka-mi-ne, not Ta-ka-mine :)
sounded like that Madonna tune
The amp too high
base is low.
shut up
0:55

TA-KA-MI-NE

Som horrível
