- In today's video, I look at the Marshall JVM 205C. The JVM range is Marshall's flagship range of amps with midi switching dual master volumes and digital reverb. In this video, I look at both channels with the 6 modes to see how it sounds.

SIX DISTINCT SOUNDS
Two channels, each with three gain modes, gives you access to a wide range of sounds and almost-endless options for refining your tone. Along with the three-way EQ in each channel, the Presence and Resonance controls let you shape the tone from the power amp.
THE HEART OF YOUR RIG
Connect a host of effects pedals and other external gear within the JVM’s two effects loops. The first loop is adjustable to let you perfectly blend your effects and original tone together. JVM amps can also receive and repeat MIDI commands for ultimate control and synchronising with the rest of your setup.

The Studio Rats are core band members Paul Drew on guitar/production/mixing, drummer James Ivey and Dan Hawkins on bass. They collaborate with singers and musicians to produce radio-ready songs.

Great demo of a great amp! I've owned a JVM410H since 2008 and I still love it's tone and amazing versatility. My dream is that Marshall produce a down sized 20 watt version that keeps the features but loses some weight...at my age I need all the help I can get lol
Too big too heavy to powerful. 20 watt is all that is needed. The dsl is covering that so a jvm ain’t needed. I’ve had and gigged both. Dsl !!!!!

I'm a Mesa Mark series guy but there's something with the JVM tonally that sounds like the perfect mix of Marshall and Mesa to me.
This is the amp that saved Marshall. Playing technique is the ideal. You should upload some technique videos.
Pretty amazing string definition even on the red high gain setting. Chords still sound good.
