Titan makes a great overland machine
I love that you’re giving a Titan so much love. I adore my Titan SV Bronze edition!!!
It’s been a great truck and more people need to know that 😂
Glad you didn’t buy a new truck for this project! Always need more Titan content
Loving these Titan videos!
Great! Thanks for checking in!
Nice. I have same color Titan
Awesome! Thanks for checking in!
Beautiful setup. I just got a 2024 p4x in the baja storm color this weekm was initially in the market for a gen 3 raptor but went with the titan. My first truck.
Did you have any warranty voiding issues when you modded the truck? I planning on putting a cold air intake and aftermarket exhaust system
I was looking at raptors too but titan has better towing capacity.
Nothing “voids” a warranty. They would have to prove that a specific mod caused a specific failure. The dealership I got the truck from said they only get warranty pushback on trucks with greater than 3” lifts. They have a Nissan and a Dodge/Jeep dealer and sell lots of lifted vehicles.
I'm a bit late to this video but seeing as you're neering the 100,000 mile mark, what are you doing to mitigate carbon building up? Have you had the heads pulled to see what your valves look like? I haven't had any experience with direct injection engines, but I am curious: Will these go as long as port injection?
I used a catch can for a while. Certainly catches a lot.
Did you have to recalibrate your speedometer when you lifted the truck and add bigger tires?
@@devinusam lift doesn’t effect it and tires are actually factory diameter so no need to recalibrate.
Any regrets in not getting the carpeted headliner? Any condensation issues?
No regrets yet. It may have made it a bit quieter back there for the dogs, but they don’t seem to mind. I haven’t had any condensation issues yet. Thankfully.
@@the_next_adventure thanks for the response! I plan to order in the next few weeks!
How is the rc lift so far? Im considering getting same lift pretty much bolt on? dont need to upgrade anything else?
It’s not bad. It’s been on the truck for over 40k miles now so it’s getting a little squeaky and the RC ball joints are shot now. I think for the money it’s probably a damn good deal. As long as you stay 3” or under you won’t need to change anything else.
@@the_next_adventure nice!! Good to know
where did you get the ditch light bracket?
CJD racing. Install video is in the channel along with links
You should just take it out already and you'll figure out what you need after your trips.
I have taken it out. Also very uncomfortable this time of year in SC which is why I say coming up this fall!
