I support K Daot because he's passionate about documenting the local culture and different communities in the Philippines. I appreciate the dedication and hardwork.
Love your comment stating that "despite the tragedy, we should not judge a place on a historic event...we should still see it's beauty" kudos to you Kumander
Good morning everyone! Thanks to the excellent Isabela City Tourism and Lamitan City Tourism Offices for setting everything up! (I also realised my helmet microphone sounds like a Dalek, I need to find a cable that works!)
Anselm, you garnered a lot of positive comments because the content of your vlog is great and informative!!! You did amazing like the past videos. Stunning photography of Basilian!! And encouraging a lot of Filipinos to visit Basilan!!! Dept of Tourism should employ you because you know how to capture an audience!!’ 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you for sharing this small town that people love. and of course you the main reason people love you. you're down to earth guy, you explore our country no matter what and you speak their language. And you're very good. Kudos to Mr. Kumander of the Philippines. thank you for your big heart.
Thank you so much commander daot for visiting may place of birth..i missed Isabela so much, i grew up and finished my school days at Isabela City but now i live here in Imus City but may Mother and may siblings are still living at Isabela and also may relatives as well.. love seeing you eating sati basically we eat also there and up to now it is open for business.
Hi KD, awesome videos, I always enjoy watching and supporting your channel. Keep it up. May God bless, guide and protect you throughout your journey/ life. From USA
Good day, mate! Awesome effort, even with the iffy weather at times! It's always refreshing to watch your videos and see these places from your perspective and to find out how they have changed, mate. Cheers!
So glad you are drawn back to Basilan repeatedly. That ensures that we get to learn more about the people and the culture there. The history is always fascinating and the weaving is incredibly beautiful. You can show that in your vlogs every time and I'll never tire of it. The shirt that you bought really suits you. I would't mind having one of those. Your guide was perfect for you. The Stations of the Cross climb that takes 30 minutes is a 1 hour hike for him... and you.😂 And the kuyas on the boat teaching you some "essential" Yakan phrases were the best.🤣
Back in the old folky days The air was magic when we played The riverboat was rockin' in the rain Midnight was the time for the raid Oh, Isabela, proud Isabela They tore you down and plowed you under You're only real with your make-up on How could I see you and stay too long?
Kumander D., I really like your vlog! Thru your video I learned a lot about some interesting history of my Philippine country. I am ashamed to admit that I learned a significant history about the Western countries in comparison to the Philippines, having lived here for 45 years in Canada. But as always, I consider the Philippines as my home country. I love Canada, but I always longed for the Philippines. Thank you for this very informative vlog. Mabuhay po kayo Kumander D., & be careful in your travels!
Your probably the first Briton to venture that place. Although basilan and maguindanao have a bad image in your vlog we see the place in different perspectives now. kudos to you KD
What jolted my attention was a Cuevas fr.Bacoor Cavite who became a famous man there , but when he went there in the 1900 s there were a few people then in Basilan, that was when Cavitenos were busy fighting the Spaniards and later the Americans, maybe he migrated there to escape the war.
Hi Kumander D. Between 2000 to 2015, I had a cousin who was an SP04 with the PNP. He can tell plenty of PNP stories😉. Some were scary, many funny ones too. Bur watching this episode reminded me of one of his PNP tales. Apparently, if a PNP officer "misbehave", he gets "exiled" to Sulu or Basilan. But after watching your vlog, I say, Basilan is not bad! I'd request to be sent there!😊.
@@KumanderDaot very nice. I’m using my ZV1 M2 some times but I’m sure the stabilization and clarity are nothing like yours! I have a research topic for this evening. Clarity is incredible on yours! Noticed immediately.
Kalma lang, You know many appreciate vloggers coz they work hard for their content to show to some Filipinos if not all about what they captured on their camera. Not in the distant future, hopefully, tourism will boom in Basilan and Sulu with luxury resorts and 5 star hotels.
My Mom Birthplace is Zamboanga, I really wanted to visit Basilan and Lamitan!

Wonder where their poop, garbage etc go, houses is anchored right on top of water bed, is that pkace not smelly?
Because of me and Tok!!!! Hahahahahaha!!!!
🤣🤣🤣
Why the founder of Lamitan did not have a good tombstone.
If Marag Valley was the NPA stronghold Basilan is the Abu Sayyaf stronghold
Bot saltik😂
for content of course. and to shock local filipinos 😅
But vloggers promotes tourism, and tells the truth comparing to national medias and networks.
Kalma lang, You know many appreciate vloggers coz they work hard for their content to show to some Filipinos if not all about what they captured on their camera.
Like me, am from Luzon, Bcoz of Daot, through this vlog i learn and know some history, culture of my fellow filipinos in Mindanao and see houses are just on top of waters.
@@Nextonmixvlog Contrary to your 1st statement with laugh icon it's sarcastic, come to Basilan and you'll be my guest.
Then?????????
