So PROUD of you Kumander Daot, you are so GENUINE and brave bro to have come and visit SULU... Our brothers there have been anticipating to get some good contents from their place. You DESERVE all the PRAISE brother. 😊❤And cheers to people in SULU. ❤Mabuhay kayo mga KABAYAN!

Who knew the world was being deprived of such rich treasures, being the life and culture of the Sulu people and its geography. Each video continues to build upon my fascination of the place.

KD, another terrific vlog of the formerly forbidden provinces! Whatever you do, don't confuse curacha with cucaracha. 😂 The curacha are huge! Most crab I've eaten are nowhere near that size and a lot of work to get the meat. I also like that they taste like lobster, which I tend to prefer over crab. Your pulis escort is a man of many talents. It they ever do a pageant for the adults, he would likely win.
Hi kumander daot, i just been a while here in your channel and and just realized that you are great 👍 ❤and i dont want to compare u with kulas and bret but ur are great u have somthing that they dont have...the way u speak the way how u see things, the way how u appreciate the place...even we dont know whats in ur heart its just come out naturally and we feel that...keep up the good work in vloging... and cant wait on the nxt one❤
Salamat for another awesome, entertaining, informative, and inspiring video, Kumander Anselm. For the most part, this is another educational and heartwarming presentation of the realities of the lives of our beloved kababayans from the less-traversed parts of Mindanao - simple, close to nature, family-centric, happy, resilient - characteristics that are very much Filipino. On the other hand, this also makes you wonder, how despite such simplistic and loving nature, that there are evil and corrupt politicians who would deliberately choose to take advantage of and abuse our people, our resources. It’s too early in the morning to be dwelling on such thoughts but I fervently hope, through your efforts in producing videos like this and together with our collective love for our people and our country, that the collective Filipino spirit still prevails, and at the end, we will all triumph against such abusers and prosper as one nation. Too dramatic for a one-off comment but trust that your videos do evoke such sentiments, which to me is a mark of a very good material produced by very talented and socially-attuned man like you, Kumander Anselm. I wish you continued good health, inspiration, and positive energy and mindset to keep inspiring not just many Filipinos but also more from all over the world. 👏💯💞✨
"the big size is the best" That's what she said, kumander. 😂😂 Another awesome video. It's unfortunate no one has ever done a proper survey of those caves.
Wow Kumader Daot! We always watch your video! Amazing Mindanao! We admire your braviness to travel. You know more about our Country than us filipinos! Amazing and very impressive. Thank you for featuring places unbeaten paths of of Philippines! Watching here from Canada followers! ❤🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Kumander, your vlog makes me nostalgic about Sulu or Lupa Sug. I miss those tortoise colored blue beaches and the food. I see a lot of changes since I've been there 20 years ago. Thanks for an excellent feature.
KD thanks for being so supportive and showcasing the beauty of this most southern part of the Philippines, the less traveled for visitors, whatever the reason is. Your videos are great and you do an excellent job narrating and the photography is Superb. ❤❤❤🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎🌎⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏
Used to catch what I remembered looking like miniature caracha on the surf . It was called “ bakoko”. It was fried crisp and eaten whole. Was this a baby caracha? Was wondering as I’ve never heard of caracha . Great video. Enjoyed it.
For me kumander Daut is you Are a goat regarding of being a bloger no one bloger ,,can do this adventure of this island of the philippines ..i salut you bro
13:03 the MYTH OF DUWAY BUD/BULUD. The sister and brother who was thrown in sea and became an islands.. many tausug knows this island a mysterious happening with big waves and sharks.. finally i got to see it in your vlog kumander daot. Thank you/magsukul
OMG nice dance... "Pangalay" nice people of Tongkil... The Curacha, have you tried eating not the meat, but the one near to it skull? Taste amazing if you did. Sir Daot have you asked them the people you've visited about the Tale of "Duway Bud"? The myth of these Duway Bud? Duway Bud means Two mountains. Duwa means two... Back then there were no mountains in that Area according to the old folks... But when the people threw these brother and sister into the sea in that area, as time passes bye, they became mountains, two mountains, the other mountain is Girl, and the other mountain is boy. You are actully on the girl mountain and the rock you've seen that on top of the other rock was her pony tail, according to the old folks, these are our old people have told us about the story of these two mountains. And I think you missed the other mountain the boy mountain. This is a true Legend indeed...👍
@@KumanderDaotThese are forbidden islands for majority of the Taosug people, scarry islands and the sorrounding is scarry aswell too many sharks, deadly sharks... One story fisherman have seen the huge shark in this area that has a stamp of USA on the skin. Good Job Kumander Daot...👍
This was also told by my grandma back when I was a child everytime we are passing in duway bulud I felt scared because there are stories that this island was full of mysterious things and happenings.
@Kumader Daot - As always great videos - how much do all these tours cost and who do you contact to help arrange ones trip? This info will help your viewers - thanks
Contact "Mar Appao" on Facebook, he's the tourism officer 🙂 tours depend on what you want to do but work on about 5k per day good for up to 6-8 people for that budget
"BOLO BOLO" made me laugh because an American friend (ex Police Officer) told me years ago that BOLO BOLO was code word for "be on the look out". Thank you for another adventure Kumander D, for which many of us can only dreamed of. Sigh, maybe I could be brave enough one day to venture in that part of the Philippines. 😊
I'm from India India 🇮🇳 and i love this place so much, is there any way to reach a local guide or a tourism department so i can have a tour around the place???
@@KumanderDaot Thank you so much KD will try to contact the tourism officer. And I wish more Indians could watch your videos, you should visit some Indian restaurant in Philippines and try our food.

I think Indiana Jones better get a proper hat and whip if he's planning on going into those caves. God only knows how many times Indy has stepped right into a bobby trap and only escaped by the brim of his hat and the crack of his whip. Keep your stick on the ice Indy. And remember, everything is fixable with Duct Tape...
