I never know that Philippines have this kind of nature. This is heaven and different nature of the Philippines. I only saw mountains and oceans but this is one of a kind❤
You remind me of the late Anthony Bourdain when he narrated his travels: you both sound very poetic in delivering your stories. Your university educational background really shows on how you explain your observations on people and their culture. You belong to the caliber of Discovery Channel documentary journalists.
So many unique and interesting places in the Philippines and for each one of them, there are genius, hard-working people who figure out how to use it to their advantage and carve out a livelihood from it. Fascinating!
Great Content as usual Anselm. Very interesting. Even though I live here in the Philippines I always learn more about the Philippines when I watch your vids.
Kumander, you are a proper documentarian. Your video technique, cinematic style, narration, and editing are always so impressive! (When you offer your Master Class, I want to be the first to sign up.) You truly have a gift. I loved everything about this visit to the Agusan Marsh through your eyes, and your ability to get the best quotes from the people you encounter makes the video so much more enriching for us your viewers. "We can change the fish trap's position, but you can't change your wife."🤣 The Manobo are such an admirable people. They have such a beautiful view of life, their legacy, and their place in the world. Keep up the great work! This was more than worth the wait.🔥💯🏆 Aloha at Mabuhay!🤙
Really appreciate it Chris! Was worth staying up until 1am to get this one done last night! These places inspire me! I also laughed at their sense of humour haha!
Im so impress of Kuya on how he thoughts about to value what thet have and take care of it. Hopefully most filipinos will think the same as what he think not blaming the government instead make a move on how they survive. GodBless to Agusan Marsh and to you sir.
Apart from the fact that this is one of your best videos in terms of quality and compassion for local culture, it is more importantly (to me at least) a demonstration of how sensible government environmental regulation can work with local communities to protect and preserve the environment. I was moved by how the Agusan locals understood, accepted and welcomed this type of governmental regulation and management for their own benefit. This is NOT what we see in more developed countries like the US where there is so much mistrust (perhaps deserved in some cases) that the people end up working against their own interests!!! GREAT JOB, Anselm. PS: get ready for the EURO 2024 pool in June, my friend!
So inspirational to see how they work alongside the government and really maintain the environment there. They are really part of nature - that's how they feel! BTW Looking forward to Euro 2024 😁
Kumander, I think that you have found your calling. Your vlogs stand out from other expat vloggers in the Philippines in that your content about the people, their culture, and the topography, is very interesting and educational. Where others vloggers focus on themselves, your vlogs focus on others. You appear to be honing your skills as a producer of documentaries and hope you continue to do so. It's cool that you share your learning experiences about becoming an organic farmer. You have a lovely family and are no daot. Greetings from Canada, eh!
I find so much inspiration in seeing the lives of others in very unfamiliar settings (for me). My face, for now, is not so inspiring, I even forgot to shave 😁 thanks so so much for appreciating the lives of those I meet 🙂
Thank you Kumander for your documentary of the Augusan Marshland and the people. Again, as many documentaries you have done in the Island of Mindanao you have exemplified yourself by showing to the world the jewel of Mindanao, the indigenous peoples’ culture and tradition. I couldn’t be much prouder to be from Davao. God Bless you and guide you whatever you do.
My Fathers place..My ancestors lived there,I have definitely a MANOBO TRIBE Blood❤❤❤😇🙏 #VERYPROUDMANOBO THANK YOU SIR FOR SHARING THIS EXPERIENCE,I MISSED MY ancestors place back in AGUSAN🥰😍😇🙏
