I'm not Jewish, but I think this is what we all need: to think Jewishly. Which we can learn from Rabbi Friedman. I've also learned a lot from Jewish websites. I don't think conversion is for everyone, in fact probably it's only for very few people, for various reasons.

GOD IS WITHOUT A BEGINNING....BECAUSE IF HE HAD A BEGINNING THEN OUR BRAINS CANNOT COMPREHEND OR FATHOM A BEFORE GOD CONCEPT ... OUR BRAINS ARE NOT ABLE TO COMPUTE A BEFORE GOD CONCEPT THAT MAKES SENSE SO THE ONLY TRUTH IS GOD DOESN'T HAVE A BEGINNING AND HE DOESN'T HAVE AN END. GOD IS GREAT 🙏
THIS IS NOT TRUE UNTIL IT IS PROVEN OK.DOES GOD HAVE A BEGINNING OR IS GOD ETERNAL,WHO KNOWS THIS THINGS BUT UNTIL IT IS PROVEN IT IS NOT TOTALLY ACCEPTABLE.

In order to get closer to understanding how the Cosmos behaves and how it came into being, One needs to know thy inner self thereby attaining a better understanding of the connection between thyself and the outer realms of the Cosmos and where it originated from.
If he has feelings why letting us suffer?! He gave us empty and feelings? Has he not have same feelings? I know he gave us a chance to exist! Life nothing is more value than life
When some say they don’t believe in God, they mean they don’t believe in your god. Like Kepler put it “Geometry existed before the creation. It is co-eternal with the mind of God. Geometry is God himself.” Different God and different mitzvah. God is Knowledge and the only mitzvah, is to love knowledge and acquire knowledge. And you need knowledge as much as knowledge increases learning from you.
I believe in God as belief is merely a supposition as I believe in many things, however me believing in anything whatsoever without tangible references to substantiate such beliefs makes believing just a thought or a whim.
In vedic scriptures ("hinduism"), the same God, the supreme creator of the whole creation, comes as a human being to be loved, because God has created this creation to experience unconditional, agendaless, motivesless pure love as a beloved husband, as a son, as a friend, as a boss or as a king/ruler. Vedic scriptures have the 100% knowledge about God. Even they describe God's personality in minian details. In fact, they can (the bhakti acharyas) scrutinise, if someone made the claim today of being God incarnation as a human being. ❤
Ecclesiastes 12:13 NIV [13] Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
Rabbi I have a request that you do videos in episodes ( so we can know if you have missed an episode) to teach the Torah / bible from genesis from Jewish perspective so that a non jew here in Zambia can understand.. we are following the God of Abraham
God is love. Love needs to express itself, hence the infinite universe was created. Love needs to manifest as that is the only thing love can do, evil cannot because it takes relationship/love to do so. Love doesn't need anything, it just wants to express and engage.
Interesting. Consider this: God is "masculine" because He is a *_Giver_* rather than a *_Receiver._* In Electronics, plugs are "male," and sockets are "female." Adam Kadmon had the potential to be a Giver, like his Father, but was tainted by the feminine, being only a Receiver. To purify himself, God gave him a way to Decide to become a giver -- the Tree (matrix) of Knowledge (experience) of Good-Evil (dichotomy, like action-reaction). 😎♥✝🇺🇸💯
Time is such a sublime realm, in which what you call past, present, and future exists inter-relationally. That is, they are not opposites, but rather parts of the same whole; progressions of the same idea; cycles of the same energy; aspects of the same immutable Truth. If you conclude from this that past, present, and future exist at one and the same "time," you are right. (Yet now is not the moment to discuss that. We can get into this in much greater detail when we explore the whole concept of time - which we will do late.) The world is the way it is because it could not be any other way and still exist in the gross realm of physicality. Earthquakes and hurricanes, floods and tornadoes, and events that you call natural disasters are but movements of the elements from one polarity to the other. The whole birth-death cycle is part of this movement. These are the rhythms of life, and everything in gross reality is subject to them, because life itself is a rhythm. It is a wave, a vibration, a pulsation at the very heart of the All That Is. Wisdom: knowledge of Immortality Immortality is here and now, and is not a speculative something beyond the grave. It is a lucid state of consciousness in which the sensations of the body, the varying and unrestful states of mind, and the circumstances and events of life are seen to be of a fleeting and therefore of an illusory character. Immortality does not belong to time, and will never be found in time; it belongs to Eternity; and just as time is here and now, so is Eternity here and now, and a man may find that Eternity and establish in it, if he will overcome the self that derives its life from the unsatisfying and perishable things of time. Whilst a man remains immersed in sensation, desire, and the passing events of his day-by-day existence, and regards those sensations, desires, and passing events as of the essence of himself, he can have no knowledge of immortality. The thing which such a man desires, and which he mistakes for immortality, is persistence; that is, a continuous succession of sensations and events in time. Living in, loving and clinging to, the things which stimulate and minister to his immediate gratification, and realising no state of consciousness above and independent of this, he thirsts for its continuance, and strives to banish the thought that he will at last have to part from those earthly luxuries and delights to which he has become enslaved, and which he regards as being inseparable from himself. Persistence is the antithesis of immortality; and to be absorbed in it is spiritual death. Its very nature is change, impermanence. It is a continual living and dying. The death of the body can never bestow upon a man immortality. Spirits are not different from men, and live their little feverish life of broken consciousness, and are still immersed in change and mortality. The mortal man, he who thirsts for the persistence of his pleasure-loving personality is still mortal after death, and only lives another life with a beginning and an end without memory of the past, or knowledge of the future. The immortal man is he who has detached himself from the things of time by having ascended into that state of consciousness which is fixed and unvariable, and is not affected by passing events and sensations. Human life consists of an evermoving procession of events, and in this procession the mortal man is immersed, and he is carried along with it; and being so carried along, he has no knowledge of what is behind and before him. The immortal man is he who has stepped out of this procession, and he stands by unmoved and watches it; and from his fixed place he sees both the before, the behind and the middle of the moving thing called life. No longer identifying himself with the sensations and fluctuations of the personality, or with the outward changes which make up the life in time, he has become the passionless spectator of his own destiny and of the destinies of the men and nations. The mortal man, also, is one who is caught in a dream, and he neither knows that he was formerly awake, nor that he will wake again; he is a dreamer without knowledge, nothing more. The immortal man is as one who has awakened out of his dream, and he knows that his dream was not an enduring reality, but a passing illusion. He is a man with knowledge, the knowledge of both states- that of persistence, and that of immortality,- and is in full possession of himself. The mortal man lives in the time or world state of consciousness which begins and ends; the immortal man lives in the cosmic or heaven state of consciousness, in which there is neither beginning nor end, but an eternal now. Such a man remains poised and steadfast under all changes, and the death of his body will not in any way interrupt the eternal consciousness in which he abides. Of such a one it is said, “He shall not taste of death”, because he has stepped out of the stream of mortality, and established himself in the abode of Truth. Bodies, personalities, nations, and worlds pass away, but Truth remains, and its glory is undimmed by time. The immortal man, then, is he who has conquered himself; who no longer identifies himself with the self-seeking forces of the personality, but who has trained himself to direct those forces with the hand of a master, and so has brought them into harmony with the causal energy and source of all things. The fret and fever of life has ceased, doubt and fear are cast out, and death is not for him who has realised the fadeless splendour of that life of Truth by adjusting heart and mind to the eternal and unchangeable verities.

If I understand our dear rabbi, God is a particle, the original and primordial particle from whom (which?) everything started. And then he cites evolution as the basic formula of creation starting from one single source which divided itself into several branches of plants and the animal kingdom and their later subdivisions. Against this basic theory of one single source is the growing popular theory of simultaneous creation of plants, animals and the fivr races of man, yellow, brown black and white
Cont...and red notably the redskins of the great American plains. From these different flora and fauna, evolution started in each species from crude and primitive to complex and sophisticated. You with me? From one single cell dividing itself into two cells, etc. This simultaneous creation of living things is the Big Bang in biology!
Who told you that, Judaism is not a religion, it’s a way of life. Non Jews have there rules and Jewish have there rules, that’s according to Judaism. Both will have their part in this world and in the next!
( -д-) this is an artistic proof of a created universe. When you paint a shadow it's the opposite color of the object that made the shadow. Nobody knew what the opposite color of white was so the artists avoided painting white on white. The opposite color of white is baby blue and baby pink. The first artist to figure it out was Norman Rockwell. I was the second artist to figure it out. I saw it in the corner of a white room. The lighting was perfect to see it
Because He revealed Himself to the world at Sinai publicly. If not you would be completely right because otherwise there would be no way to verify an individual's claim to revelation or their truth. No other religion or philosophy such as Buddhism has any top on spirituality as Judaism, not to compare but metaphysical, Judaism, even our fingers correspond to the days of the week, our spine, so much ! BH'
He said God is the needy one. That’s not true. Love is a cooperative concept; meaning when He created the universe and all that was in it He expressed His desire for companionship. You can say we need but that’s different than saying someone is needy. God desired and needed a way of expressing his attributes of love and therefore we exist for this reason. A relationship with God.
It's so funny how humans think they know who or what the creator is consciousness to me is God or Creator and we are God because we are conscious beings like all other intelligent beings in the universe
Very Good Talk, from my perspective, the reason why God loves the world, is to find friends to enjoy life with. what is life? if there is no one to share it with? so God created Man and gave them free will, because he wants everyone to be themselves. and this is the same with God. for "IAM who I AM, and IAM who I will become". God is not dependent on humans, and Humans does not need to be dependent on God they can choose to separate from him. it is a mutual love and respect that he desire. if we believe God needs us. we will be shocked when Judgment comes. if we believe we can be who we are with God. then everyone wins. Grow your hearts, Forgive because to end Fear you must learn to forgive through faith and believe. I would be carful when you speak words that resonate in the spirit that says God is the one who needs who. just words of advice.
Hi I’d draw your attention to the Lord’s Prayer. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven- You seek for his will through you as already planned. Explains his “God’s need for you” Daily bread?- Give me what I need for today to survive and also do your will” God needs You. Explained by the Rabbi.
@@Lesibari thank you for clarifying. During the last of the speech. There was a distinction between our need for God and God dependency on humans. I was pointing out the discernment and to bring notice that is similar to our need of sin. God, is teaching to be sustainable, and to bring sustainability. God wants to give us roles that will take upon the responsibility of the forgotten and fallen. God has told everyone how to search for him He is among the wicked, suffering from pain and sickness. Of we want to know him. Search the places where these people dwell, he is here to clain the sick and the weak in heart. They are overlooked by society. We pass by a million faces in our life. Jow many of us holds stories of raising these individuals off the ground and raise them back up. Life is never about the fall but to teach humanity how to overcome sin.😇
If we were to be honest with ourselves the belief in god may have had a good affect on humanity to a certain extent but it also had a bad affect on humanity. if you don’t agree look at the on going fighting in the Middle East
Wow I liked this lecture and this related to your old video which talks about the creation of Adam and Eve. But the big question remains unanswered why was human created ?, what is the tikkun that needs to be done but isn't done yet but no one knows the purpose of life or rather creation then how can it be completed ?
Yes 🎉❤!!! The WOMB!!!!!!!!!!! All is womb within the universe!!! Every tree, every particle of air, every wave of the ocean and the breath, every planet in the universe is womb peace and unity to infinity within diversity.! And they was light
People don’t need a justification for existing. It’s natures doing . And we don’t need a god to follow or obey . And we are here for something. That something is defined by the individual who gives their lives meaning . We are not here for nothing .
Btw, why do you need to follow or obey a god? Just be, period! Or.....be a positive influence in this world and give purpose and meaning to your gift of life. Be an asset not an ass!
Consider this: Man also has Free Will because he was made in the image of God (Gen. 1.26) before being made from the dust (Gen. 2.7). In other words, he is *_also_* Spirit (Gen. 6.3). Perhaps the only dimension of free will in this deterministic universe is whether or not to remain in this realm of experience, or to return to Heaven. 😎♥✝🇺🇸💯
GOD is GLORY - Everything at its highest point of all things comes from GOD! GLORY. The Glory of GOD! We are so limited in our intelligence and reasoning. This GLORY has intelligence and resoninging, and glory, and sence, and intuition! It's the highest and it is the GLORY of all. All things comes from that GLORY of ONE!
Rabbi why does there have to be so many gods ? Why does there have to be a Jewish concept of god and a Christian concept of god ? If god is a particle why would some one feel the need to pray to it ?
With all due respect, you are asumming that the universe had a beginning. Cosmology today, with new observations by the James Webb Space Telescope indicates that the universe did not necessarily have a beginning; it could be infinite and eternal. That's correct, there was the universe, or if you will, Nature itself, at the beginning. In fact, that makes so much more sense than to ass-u-me that the universe had a beginning. So, by your definition, Nature is God, God is Nature.
I wish people would understand that the word Alien is NOT a real word. Alien is another spelling for Alpha Lion. Plus, you were THOUGHT into this reality. Commandment: Meant/Ment/Mount/ The word Ment means mind. Commands Of The Mind.
Jews of old are under the curse.. and have not been redeemed. If we didn’t need God or punished for not giving to God then their would not be blessing and cursing.. to not know the law is to be under the curse correct??
The Rabbi says: "If you don't believe, He (God) is not real! Not so. Who is coordinating the quadrillions of cells in a non-believer's body? Who is pervading and supporting the Univrese while the non-believer claims there is no God? -- According to the ancient Hindu scriptures, the Supreme Being said: " This whole Universe I pervade and support with one fraction of my being, yet I abide unchanging.

You a mystic now, huh?
God is all there is, we are in it and it is in us. Only the ego says different
I love this man, thank you for being you Rabbi.
Our god also has a promise and that promise i look forward too. ❤
Wow! Coming from a non-jew, your perspective is so refreshing!
Yes. I am not Jewish but your point of view makes so much more sense. I’ve been looking for something that makes sense for a long time
how can we mortals presume that GOD has needs? Name one.

Thank you Rabbi Friedman ❤
If he has feelings why letting us suffer?! He gave us empty and feelings? Has he not have same feelings? I know he gave us a chance to exist! Life nothing is more value than life
When some say they don’t believe in God, they mean they don’t believe in your god. Like Kepler put it “Geometry existed before the creation. It is co-eternal with the mind of God. Geometry is God himself.”
Different God and different mitzvah.
God is Knowledge and the only mitzvah, is to love knowledge and acquire knowledge. And you need knowledge as much as knowledge increases learning from you.
Well actually God can co exist with nothing, from my understanding. We can't.
“God can co-exist with nothing”…., not anymore, he has to live with the memory of your existence forever and ever; and that’s not “nothing”.
If I believe in God, it's fine, but how one being created everything? We just need to understand it.
I believe in God as belief is merely a supposition as I believe in many things, however me believing in anything whatsoever without tangible references to substantiate such beliefs makes believing just a thought or a whim.
"I know, I don't have to be believe". - Carl Jung
Yes, knowing if factual. Believe is a doubt.

Dang, you as talented as Joel Osteen in some ways!

Q 9:29 calls Christianity the Religion of Truth.
So, do we know what we believe, or believe what we know?
Thank you Rabbi.
We can get into this in much greater detail when we explore the whole concept of time - which we will do late.)
The world is the way it is because it could not be any other way and still exist in the gross realm of physicality.
Wisdom: knowledge of Immortality
Immortality is here and now, and is not a speculative something beyond the grave.
I think Hitchens would have simply stated "I don't know" to your question about God. That's a pretty standard answer. He only got annoyed with idiots.
He would probably have been annoyed with you.
Yes, it depends on what one's definition of God is.
If this is your belief, then I feel very hopeful for the future of humanity, because people will see right through this bullshit.

Faith is familiarity with God ❤
Faith is something someone has when one has trust in something or someone without having complete control of that thing. Like having faith that someone will stop at a red light. No matter what you believe, you have faith.
Or the conviction that you have familiarity w G-d when in fact you don't. Ponder all the wars in which both sides had, or have, the conviction that G-d is on their side.
Complex we are.
A car was not created to need fuel, that's not it's purpose of existence.
It doesn't need anything from us that created it. But we created it with need for the fuel to be able to serve it's purpose.
And if it's able to serve, it's existence is justified. 😮
Everything good, order, values, honesty, trust, beauty, friendship, family, nature, humanity, laws and borders,
I am not Jewish either, therefore I am not going to heaven but thank you Rabbi you make my existence on this earth a little easier.
The lighting was perfect to see it
Simple definition of God. "All That Is".
For me, as a Pantheist i believe God is a force, not a being and if so why Yahovah and not Brahma
Because He revealed Himself to the world at Sinai publicly. If not you would be completely right because otherwise there would be no way to verify an individual's claim to revelation or their truth. Hashem is smart so are the Jewish Peaple. He knew that they would not receive the Torah any other way!
Very few ppl put it this way/ as it should ty

Interesting view. I don't buy into all of it, but there is definitely plenty of food there for thought.
IMHO, God was not the beginning, He began the beginning. God is the Creator, not the creation.
It's so funny how humans think they know who or what the creator is consciousness to me is God or Creator and we are God because we are conscious beings like all other intelligent beings in the universe

When am I supposed to say "no one
understands me?"
Explains his “God’s need for you”
Daily bread?- Give me what I need for today to survive and also do your will”
God needs You.
God has told everyone how to search for him
He is among the wicked, suffering from pain and sickness. Of we want to know him. Search the places where these people dwell, he is here to clain the sick and the weak in heart. They are overlooked by society. We pass by a million faces in our life.
Jow many of us holds stories of raising these individuals off the ground and raise them back up.
Life is never about the fall but to teach humanity how to overcome sin.😇
that something is something, we dont know, but when we make this something God, we have a problem of anybodys imagination
If we were to be honest with ourselves the belief in god may have had a good affect on humanity to a certain extent but it also had a bad affect on humanity. if you don’t agree look at the on going fighting in the Middle East

People don’t need a justification for existing. It’s natures doing . And we don’t need a god to follow or obey . And we are here for something. That something is defined by the individual who gives their lives meaning . We are not here for nothing .
Oh, yes! We are here to occupy space at a certain point in time to affirm our brief existence in a material world. And the point is.........?
Btw, why do you need to follow or obey a god? Just be, period! Or.....be a positive influence in this world and give purpose and meaning to your gift of life. Be an asset not an ass!
I agree with you what does god want
GOD was me as a newborn.. before they killed this god be feeding words labels and shit to me... and now IAM looking for this GOD again..
It started with God speaking everything into existence if you haven't noticed everything in this world is vibration
If god needed a certain world he could have created it .

The universe does not revolve around Abrahamic creation stories.
