nice one Mike. Just discovered both my June 1987 W201 190E radiator and overflows have pinhole leaks in them. I also drug home a 1979 E21 320i to use for a parts car for my other 79. The 190 needs most of the interior switches replaced.
I replaced mine once and a day later without thinking put my hand over the nipple leaning over to look at the engine .. (made up some cuss words) had to tap it and epoxy a metal nipple in its place!! Its held for years!
Ok, Mike - now I know the secret to your success as a Master Mercedes Mechanic! I turned my volume way up and finally heard what you mumble before you grab the 10-mm wrench, as you perform the sign of the cross; "Adjutorium nostrum in nomine Domini" ("I may need help in the name of the Lord"). Now that is an unfair advantage over other channels who don't have friends in high places.. 😏
Aye lad....although we do sometimes foreshorten it to 'Rad' (as in 'RADical')....'Me rads got a gurt big ole in it'. But the normal pronunciation on this side of the pond is indeed 'radiator' as in 'Radiation'.
Another great MWM video. I'm surprised Mercedes would sink so low to having plastic radiator tanks. I would think all aluminum would be the choice for their top of the line sedan.
Another great video Mike. When do you think you will be buying a new house, as I really feel for you having to have your cars all over the place and having to work in these not so good conditions?
for j b weld to work correctly the area must be totally dry. best to use a heat gun before applying. but a new radiator is good too. that way you don't have to worry about internal deterioration.
Hi I liked your videos I have mercedes 560 sel I changed both fuel pumps, fuel filter but still the car is not running properly. It starts after 20 crunks and than switch off. The acceleration is not reaching to 5. After 5 minutes it's switched of automatically. Please reply me what is the problems. Thanks
Hi Thanks for replying brother I changed the filter And the accumulator is old I don't know how to check accumulator. It's work to put the pressure to the fuel. Right. Or can I clean the accumulator. Brother can I get your contact no.or what's up. Please send me Thank a lot
With the amount of times you said the word 'nipple' (especially 'showing what the nipple looks like') I'm surprised this video haven't been demonetized! jkjk
After saying "nipple" numerous times and saying "put a tool in your mouth" I'm glad you didn't call the drain plug a "petcock" You might have gotten demonetized. 🤣😂
Another great shade-tree fix! I’m not sure where you’re getting your parts from but I use a website that has OEM MB parts at about half of their retail. Check out www.autohausaz.com. They’ve been a Godsend for me and my fleet of old MB’s.
Free clue. JB WELD usually doesn’t work under pressure. And that’s our Monkey Wrench moment for Sunday.
Yeah, super easy Mike LOL!!
I love the prayers before you start any work.( lol ) Well Mike I guess the prayers worked.
You make it look so easy. Thanks for the step by step. Looking forward to what's next for the W126.
Great time to replace the ac condenser if its old. Thats what brought me here. Great video!
Amazingly almost no any mess at all. :) Hope you put some new coolant in the system!!
Thank you very much Mike, for the detailed explanation!! Now i am prepared for my radiator replacement.
Great video Mike. Finally one that was as easy as you thought! Waiting for the next one.
Great work 🙌👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

So glad you have a solid runner.
Great One Mike.. "Job Well Done"..
Nice work on the rad and the car looks great. I can understand why it's a keeper.

It's Ray-Di-A-tour over here, pretty much the same.
Much love from the U.K. 🤭

I was raised right... lol
Wow! Do all that in one hand!
Well done, Mike! I've done this a number of times on my old Bimmers and it's not too much different.
As always, thank for the vids! :)
Great job Mike! Hopefully you'll get many more miles out of it. Thanks for the video!
Your pronunciation of the word " radiator " is the same as across the pond. Hope that helps, with regards from across the pond!
Aye lad....although we do sometimes foreshorten it to 'Rad' (as in 'RADical')....'Me rads got a gurt big ole in it'. But the normal pronunciation on this side of the pond is indeed 'radiator' as in 'Radiation'.
That radiator is secured better than an Amish chastity belt.
i m so sad because in my country the Mercedes cost a lot with papers and fixing ...but i love this cars a lot a lot a lot safety first
Mike, if I'm not mistaken, at a radiator shop they could have replaced only that top leaky part.
If it was me, I would have changed all the hoses as well, at least you would know, that you won't have any surprises in the near future.
Another great MWM video. I'm surprised Mercedes would sink so low to having plastic radiator tanks. I would think all aluminum would be the choice for their top of the line sedan.
When you tell the car it’s gonna be an easy radiators job. I Imagine the car is a toddler stomping its feet saying no lol
I like the new logo.
Mike 👍 great job! Your a quite a card😁
Thanks for the videos Mike the Mercedes sl is looking good
"This is going to be a nice and easy fix" … did I hear a standard Mercedes Benz snicker after you said that?
Another great video Mike.
When do you think you will be buying a new house, as I really feel for you having to have your cars all over the place and having to work in these not so good conditions?
Soon I hope!!
i have now renault laguna 1.8 16v very nicely driving but my love is Mercedes

How did your transmission fluid look? Any burnt smell? Nice repair! Is your body in the trunk of your other MB stinking yet?
Still haven’t opened it. The car is at a storage facility... lol
Dang it Mike, now I need to pee.
Well you can’t say you didn’t try. That radiator looks like it’s going to be a bear to replace
I stand corrected. It wasn’t that bad. Great job
Love that car
How many times did you say nipple? (grin) Love the car!
The issue about running to the bathroom depends on the age of the mechanic. :)
