So glad I found this channel. I'm from NOLA and i haven't been home in a minute. I can hold my own in the kitchen, but the good chef has turned me into a few things that I never would've tried, especially since I am not strong when it comes to sweets and pastries etc. Soon as I watched this video I could taste how this was gonna come out. Charlie, have you ever considered Also doing the eating of your recipes in an ASMR style?! Like you do your recipe vids and then you have a separate ASMR vid fully eating the food? I think it would boom for you! Keep it up!
@CharlieTheCookAndrews If it helps any, as a consumer of ASMR content, it's about the relaxation of the sounds but its about equally as important as what you have visually to eat. BUT, the main thing is, a good meal ASMR Will be watched Over and Over and Over again! Many of us use ASMR videos to wind down for the night and just put on one's we like and set a timer. I can also tell you as a consumer of that content, much Prefer the eating ASMR vids where we just see the food and hear the sounds of it being eaten, over the preparation sounds. Some tubers do both the cooking and eating in one ASMR experience(some do a good job of course). In my opinion, your regular preparation stuff is fine as is, just consider doing meal eating in ASMR and eat the whole meal/plate of what you made, as it's own separate experience we can go to watch over again. And BTW, I miss the old camera shake from the fist pound. It was like you was in The Matrix lol!
The local peaches at my local grocery store look terrible. The ones from California look Devine but are way too expensive. I keep unsweetened frozen peach slices in my freezer for smoothies. What do you think about using frozen peaches?
