    I'm thinking about getting this bike. Have yet to testdrive it yet as I still need my motorcycle license but I'm a woman standing at 5'5" and 124lbs, and the size with the mid control kit is so snug and comfortable, I fell in love immediately. It's been difficult finding a bike I'm comfortable on and doesn't seem too heavy. Thanks for posting this review! 😊

    As an 83 year old rider who is not as tall as he used to be this bike fits me for a glove. I've had a 2021 S for a couple of years now and I love everything about it. Got 2 brothers 2 into 1 exhaust and a rear fender eliminator kit. Mustang seat too. With that small gas tank you're gonna stop every 100 miles or so... but you're gonna love every mile. btw it's faster than snot. Thanks for the video...

    Funny enough, as a taller guy at 6'2", I feel like the bars are at the perfect position for me to just relax my arms and they're there. I was worried about it at first, but it's actually quite comfortable. More comfortable than my old sport bikes that's for sure.

    I got to test ride a couple recently, the forward controls are awful, making me feel cramped into a letter 'C'. BUT the MID controls are SO much better, way more comfortable! Its like a different bike!

    • @TheJedRides
      @TheJedRides  6 месяцев назад +1

      The letter C is a good descriptor for the stock riding position. Yes, I bet mids are much better. I could use some T bars as well!

      Have not ridden one but I bet the big fat front tire is a detriment in the twisties ....maybe thats why Harley puts forward controls so no one bothers? IDK but it it just looks so wrong...and whats with a teensy little fuel tank??

    Fellow Jed here, with the same bike, no less! I can mirror your sentiments about the Sportster S. Fantastic bike. Aside from the wheelie bar back end, and the uncomfortable forward controls, I love it. The color on this thing is pretty interesting. Looks dark in the sun, but put it under some florescent lights, and it appears nearly orange! I installed the mid controls, and a tail tidy. The mids help my lower back quite a bit. Also, setting up the shocks to your rider weight goes a long way. (according to manual) Such a difference between road mode, and sport mode!

    • @TheJedRides

WTH is even with that? Makes no sense the PA has 50ish more HP? What the??....oh yeah and DANG IT! I just realized WTH? ONE rotor in front?? Seriously? Nah this bike needs a total redo FORGET it! Harley screwed up between pricepointing and trying to cater to FORM over function ....its why I have owned so many different motorcycles and never ever a Harley because they dont care about making a great motorcycle...they care about making easy money off their "base" that basically has been on about a fad involving vibration a look and I guess nationalistic pride thing? This Bike has been a Hot-Mess since 2021 with Gremlins, and motor Electrical/trans issues..Has H-D fixed them ?? Everyone I speak to about this Bike says, it's nothing but a Hassle and trips to the Dealer for warranty Work.
    And Yes, I test rode one, and it's amazing in Sport Mode, but if the thing keeps on breaking down, and spitting out Engine Codes that have to be fixed, then H-D better get it's Shit together, cause the word is out, that these things are not reliable.
    And you really needed to talk more about what mode you were in, and educate yourself on the Bike before blathering your ignorance about it.
