Own a 2022 and while technically it's far from the best bike I ever hard, it puts a smile on my face every time I look at it, let alone ride it. Can't imagine ever selling it.
I'm 68, rode a 48 panhead back in the 70's, and this Fat Boy is my next bike ( with a few mods added). Plan on getting one for my birthday in April of 25.
I bought a 2024 fatboy. Just love it. Lots easier to ride than my 2022 SGS, which I traded in. I love the smooth ride I get with the fatboy. I have TAB performance exhaust, chrome luggage rack, heel and toe shifter, chrome engine guard, windshield, and maybe a leather pouch in front.
Great video mate...I walked Into a Harley dealership four months ago looking to buy a Fat boy , came out with a Breakout probably one of the best bikes Iv ever ridden . Brit In the USA
The iconic Fat Boy, love that bike! I would agree that it’s not a necessarily “flickable” bike in the curves but I actually found myself enjoying that as somewhat of a slow down and cruise through instead of racing through if that makes sense. Great video, enjoying the content you put out!
Very good review, this is a dream bike and for me that dream come true back in 2019. There are few negatives: 1. Not so easy to keep chrome shining. It is a headache at least for me. 2. Wind shield is a must but it spoil the looks. 3. Factory seat is a killer. 4. Uneven tyre wear which could be due to unbalanced bike weight. In case of my bike once on the cruise control and hands off the bar bike tends to lean more to the left and to keep it straight driver need to conterweight with body lean slightly to the right in order to drive in straight line.In short it spoils the fan. Anyway for me this bike is a piece of art to look at and driveing experiance covers all I ever need, my speed addiction finally disopear.
Mate it sounds like you have a geometry issue with your rear wheel or frame. Have you got someone with eagle eyes that can measure the symmetry between left and right sides relative to the axle?
It is indeed the most handsome Harley in all of Harley line up. Its true to its roots, how a harley should look like, that iconic image we all have of Harley Davidsons in our heads, this very Fat Boy shape, fits the outline.
An achingly beautiful bike and great review by somebody who actually gets it and doesn't keep comparing it to "normal " motorcycles. Way too expensive for me alas, but a joy to behold. Keep the content coming.
I have a 2020 fatboy. I struggled with finding neutral when new. Still have the bike and it now slots into neutral nicely. They just need to be ridden.
I think there are only four motorcycles in the current lineup that represent what a Harley Davidson looks like. That is the Softail Standard, Street. Bob, Fatboy, and the Softail Heritage.
Own a 2021 and absolutely love it it looks as good standing still as when your riding it. Changed exhaust to vance and hines big radius in chrome then she sounds awesome. You always get Harley haters but they're just jealous. radius
Probably my favorite Harley. My updates would be: New exhaust. (LOUD AND CRACKLIN) Move the plate down to the left side. Replace the headlight with a traditional bucket and that's it. LOVE THE CHANNEL!
Just done 3000 miles on one of these during a couple of weeks in the US. Was fairly comfortable but cornering takes a bit to get used to. My FLXRST felt extremely nimble when I got home. The rear tyre wore out after 2500 miles and was fairly new when I set off. $700 to replace. Not good if you do decent mileage!!
Great looking bike. For some reason I have a soft spot for Harleys even though I ride sports bikes. I used to own an XR which was great fun. Great video 👍
You did an excellent job (as usually) by presenting this marvelous HOG, Darcy 👍 Wishing you and the Ol'Man all the best for crossing the 100k subs mark doon enough, mate 👍
My absolute favourite motorcycle and a personal dream of mine, especially all black 30th anniversary edition. However I dislike the fact that they ditched full wheels, and went with the holes, still looks amazing, but those full wheels are so iconic, unique and just damn sexy. Haven't ridden one yet and hope I will not be disappointed as I'm really planning on getting one, maybe next year! Please film more with the fatboy and show people's interactions 😅
It’s a real beauty isn’t it! Unfortunately I’ve got to take it back early as it’s needed for a show 🥲 not sure I’ll be able to film any more with it but I will try!
Great video!! I hope you use a battery tender (Not a charger)? Don't forget to use fuel stabilizer when storing the bike for the winter and Turtle wax left on or whatever you use to polish. Without polishing it off. Should be good for couple months. Depending on how much wax you apply. Stay safe 🙏
Just bought a Fatboy today your video just reinforced that I had made the right decision. I'm keeping my Ducati V4S Multistrada so I have the best of both worlds. :)
Great looking Harley that would look nice alongside my rocket in the shed but I’m not a lover of chrome polishing I’m afraid wonder if they might bring a stealth all black with a bit of grey touches then that would be good hope to see a part two on this bike take care ride safe
Beautiful bike. If I ever had the money for a Harley it'd be a Fat Boy. I'm not a fan of the look of the big fairing Harley's but I appreciate how amazing they may be at motorway/highway speeds.
I have a 2002 Twin Cam fatty.resprayed in a mettallic non Harley colour ,and lots of extra chrome. Pretty close to the terminater one ,except mine has a chrome freight train head light . A truly Beautiful machine.
I had a 2022 Fat Boy. Wonderful bike, I loved it. But once I put a windshield on it, I realized I was a fan of not getting blasted in the chest with wind trying to knock me off the bike. Traded for a 22 Street Glide, and I couldn’t be happier. I do wish though that I had the finances to keep both.
Love the fat boy definitely need more content on them would be cool if you could get all generations of the fat boy and do a pros and cons review comparing them Great video hope you hit 100k soon 👍
yep the 24 fatboy was so iconic that i kept it for all of 90 days and sold it or a 24 street glide. The refinement of the SG compared to the FB is lightyears in difference. From handling to throttle control to comfort and electronics. for the few thousand dollar difference, the choice should be obvious.
I've seen several of yours and your dad's videos now and I have no idea why I never subscribed. Looks like you have long since gone over 100,000 subscribers, but you can now add mine to the total! Keep riding!
It's a very cool looking bike, but something like Low Rider S with chrome would be my preference.. I want HD to stop saving disk brake at front, traction control, etc.
Dream bike right there. Such an iconic bike! I only wish they'd kept the classic headlight but it's friggin fantastic. Just an idea for the more budget minded of your followers: would you consider doing a used bike review series? I'm thinking old school Harleys, japanese cruisers from the 90s and early 2000s, early 2000 triumphs and so on.

The Fat Boy is a fantastic looking bike (other than the awful number plate holder) even if you are not in to bikes you would know it was a Harley, I took a test ride one last year but didn't get on with the Fat front tyre and the fact it kept grounding out every time I took it around a roundabout however it didn't stop me admiring its good looks , its quite simply a stunner.
I had a 2000 Fatboy built by DON SPEED in Rancho Cordova ca, and it was the smoothest bike I ever rode, my first bike I got in 1972 when I was 16 ,the first H2 and I never lost a race ever and when I sold it I got 50 dollars less than I bought it for, then I bought a 68Charger R/T 440 speed 50k miles A/C Silver black vinyl top and interior, 18 years old and drinking I hit a telephone pole rolled a couple times and then it burned up ,I ONLY paid 825 bucks for it and since I know now what I didn't know then I tear up once in awhile, now I'm 68 and can't ride a Fatboy anymore I'm thinking about a trike a German Trike and get a nice trailer my wife and 2 little dogs and head out on the highway, but I think I waited too long it's July 2 and the powder keg is about to go boom, I doubt anyone will read this anyway but, GET RIGHT WITH JESUS!!!
I disagree with the "Sumo wrestiling" thing. I own a 2018 version of this bike. Have owned it for 2 1/2 years. The big thing about this bike is that fat tires do not like counterleaning, which lots of people do on Harleys. If you ride leaning into the inside of the turn a little ibt over the tank, it drops right into corners real nice and easy. It's got a bit less tip in speed compared to many other bikes ofc, but it'll handle twisty roads well if you ride it the way it wants. I ride twisty roads so much on my Fat Boy I wore out the shoulders of my tire tread before the center, basically the opposite of most Harley riders. At times it feels more nimble than the Indian Sport Chief I rode a while back.
Yup, physically get forward into the bars in the turns, and it's actually quite maneuverable. But, I just got a fatboy after riding a raked chopper for a year, so anything is more nimble than that 😆
Normally I would say the older Harleys would be much better but this one 😍 IT Looks Really fine 👍👍👍 IT needs a little more black less Chrome but my god it's a Beauty Sadly im too broke and have Not enough Money 😭 Greetings to the old man
I love my 2019 Fat Boy. Put on an apehanger but steering got even harder. Think of getting back to the original factory handlebars. But I still love it.
I've got 14's on mine, I'm quite tall, so it was an ergonomic need more than a "looks" decision. Regardless, if you put your body forward into the bars on the faster turns, it's much more doable/maneuverable than pulling or pushing with the hands in a traditional counter-steer. Or just go back to the factory ones 😊
Back again, buying the Breakout or the Fatboy this weekend. I really enjoy your review, very well done and detailed, you make me gravitate towards buying the 2024 Fatboy. Stay safe brother. You said 107 horsepower but the Harley website says 94 hp?
Thanks 😊 On that point about hp Harley Davidson did give me the wrong information and we did correct that on a later video. We have reviewed the Fatboy and Breakout a few times over the years, so worth watching if you have not already, enjoy your new bike when you get it 👍🏼
Great looking bike. I like the footboards on my Honda Forza 350. Plenty of room to move your feet back and forward. No gear lever or footbrake to worry about.😊
I have a 110 FB, really wanted a new 114, but is so tame I couldn’t believe it. Would need upping to a 117+ and likely much more to be in anyway exciting. Waiting for a factory 117 in 2025. Save the upgrade costs.
Try out the Fat Boy or Breakout and you'll have a way better answer than what you're being told. The brakes are really well on both of those models stock.
When I see a new Harley-Davidson featuring that much chrome I can't help but wonder how long it'll be before rust spots appear just like what happened to your Standard. The models with blacked out components, like the Low Rider S, are likely a safer bet in that regard unless one lives in a desert climate!
This is leaps and bounds different to my Hunter 350, but I really like the Fat Boy aesthetics as well. Just the price and weight to handle in parking lot / tight yard spaces... well.. I'll stay with my Hunter. :D
I have a 18 Fatboy 114 with a stage 2 S&S 475 cam and a V&H 2 into 1 ProPipe. Wheels changed to Chrome Orion 7 spoke wheels. Recently changed to Metezler tires and the bike is fantastic. I been riding 52 years and it is just a beautiful and fun bike with character. I have a video on my channel for anyone interested of the changes
"I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle"
"Not that motorcycle, who has the Ducati keys?"
Not that one
But is a fat boy, great chassis

What?! A perfect way to start my morning and watch a motorcycle video? Yes!
I have a 22 fatboy. I love it. Here in the US our plates for a Softail are typically mounted to left side, that nicely shows off that 240 rear tire
Many people here in UK fit side mounted plates as well.
Never owned a Harley but they are one of the coolest looking machines out there, I ride a VTwin and love the character of these engines.
I'm 68, rode a 48 panhead back in the 70's, and this Fat Boy is my next bike ( with a few mods added). Plan on getting one for my birthday in April of 25.

Took a while to adapt to the diff handling ,but OK now.

I been riding 52 years and it is just a beautiful and fun bike with character. I have a video on my channel for anyone interested of the changes
Im not a HD fan, but that IS a good looking scooter. 👌
Your helmet its a Ruruc, i need a video with your opinion, please.😊
Arnold did the best marketing for this bike
