    Nicely done. I really enjoy my '23. Agree with all of your points on this bike. Very nice content as always. I really like your honest, not putting on a show, narration. Lots of good insight in many of these videos that you do.

    Hi and thanks for a very thorough episode! I just bought a Fatboy 114 2023 model, traded in my Ultra Limited 117 2020. Fatboy is a very nimble bike, no issues riding in town and corners. Greetings from Finland, Europe! Riding season is over soon but can´t wait to next season.

    Had my 2024 Fat Boy for just over a week now as a counter point to my BMW GSA which I use for longer distance rides and touring. It’s my first ever Harley-D having never owned a cruiser before and as I live in the UK, getting used to the way the FB handles around our roads commands my full on attention…….which is a good thing!……..looking forward to growing into the brand and miles more grins as I gain confidence with this stunning machine 👍

    I like the changes verses my 2016 model. I don't know why it's taken so long for Harley Davidson to incorporate a cooling system of any kind on their bikes. Someone told me they're only doing it now because the EPA is forcing them to. You would think they would have water cooled them years ago for increased reliability and rder comfort. Great review. Thanks.

    • @canadiansa1nt309
      @canadiansa1nt309  6 месяцев назад +1

      The bikes now days are definitely upgraded from 2016. I think the cooling system was a long time coming. Harley probably has to walk a fine line between tradition and progression. Thanks for watching 👍

    In England and considering a move to HD and, specifically, the FatBoy; the best looking HD in my view. Currently riding a late (and excellent) Yamaha XJR1300 that is stylish, nimble and with bags of torque. Problem is, the old twisty, country lanes that were all quiet, in good condition and had 60mph speed limits back in our hay day are now full of pot holes, cyclists, horseriders and 40 mph limits. So, maybe it’s time to just bob along on a cool-looking bike that can be really stable at low speeds, comfortable at cruising speeds and fast out of corners - and look good doing it. Thanks for the review.

    • @canadiansa1nt309
      @canadiansa1nt309  5 месяцев назад

      No problem. Sounds like you have the same issues as we have here. Minus the horse riders. The Fatboy would be a pretty good cruiser for the type of riding you’re talking about.

(I wonder if your viewer bike's fuel gauge is working properly with the larger, Fat Boy tank on it. I've known cases where it didn't).

    Great video right up until you said they're known for "high torque and neck snapping power" "getting someone off the line" is exactly what will happen when you whack the throttle, which by the way Harley's have always been known for. They are like freight trains they'll take you off the line and then lose in the middle until that freight train starts to come alive then you better be hanging on for dear life!! And EVERY Harley Davidson is woefully undepowered when it comes to "stopping power"!! They all should have dual discs up front and at a minimum a 300 mm single disc in the back.There is no "overkill" when it comes to braking!!

    "torquey for neck snapping power, but you wont get anyone off the line but may pull away down the stretch" This makes no sense.
