That is a fair assessment and I respect your feelings on it. I think that HD needs to do bikes like this to attract riders coming in to the community while continuing to build what the Old School riders want. These newer style bikes aren't perfect and are still very pricey but they help to open the door for expansion. Thanks for sharing! What do you currently ride?
I like a form factor and handling of a Nightster 975 a lot more. I wish that HD will put a 1250 engine in a Nightster and give it a dual front disc. Or even better by give us the Bronx. That will be really sweet. I will even pay more for the HD brand name if they make one.
Not really. It's got a lot of power on tap and could get a new rider into trouble unless careful. Could someone start on it sure but I'm a start with 50bhp or less person just to allow a new rider time to get comfortable with all the aspects of riding with a little less fear of a 121bhp bike.
17K for a bike with a single front brake disc. 😂 I respect the heritage, but this BS has to stop. This company is going to collapse…unless they can just fully transition into a clothing company…and that makes me sad. Hope Indian is watching and learning…
Bike is definitely overpriced. That being said this bike while moving sounds better stock vs the stock indian scout 2025 models, I've rode both. This revmax motor is way torqueier and faster than the new scouts. It is also more stable than the scout sport not the 101 when cornering and at higher speeds also. The brake being single disc sucks for a bike as fast as the sporster s. The price is the killer for this bike though and it's too high for the scouts as well. They need to get back closer to $10k to really do good selling imo.
It is expensive versus other bikes without question. What do you think would be a good price? I think 12k would be reasonable. I would put the Nightster at 9 or 10k.
Have all the Bugs and gremlins been sorted with the 2024s ,??, cause the 21-22, and some 23 were a shit show in reliability. Way too much for what you get. , and the heated grips are not even installed. And with the Rev-Max engines possibly going to be built in Thailand, then the price needs to go down , especially when some Monkey in Thailand putting together an “American” H-D 🤦🏻👎
Given it asaloan bike to use whilst mine was been serviced. Rode it for 10 mins inand was hating it. Rode back to shop and sat on couch and just waited for my bike. Contortion riding position and no suspension. Big pass.
No ! The build quality is shit as with most models. Improve styling and use plastic that doesn't look like plastic from the other side of the road.R.I.P. Harley Davidson.
It's a Sportster only in name. Big mistake by Harley because people don't understand how much more powerful this bike is. It will blow the Scout off the road.
No lie that price tag is a hard ask.
I rode one but not far. Put a huge smile on my face. I thought it was a rocket with wheels. I wouldn't buy one. I'm old school.

Oh, I would have loved to see the bronx! Would have been overpriced for its capabilities, but it would have also been a cool bike to ride
This would be the smart move, the nightster is a great easy handling bike, much less effort than the ss.
I really do like this bike, but i just wish they kept it at 15ish instead of bumping the price. Its a harder arguement for it where its priced atm
14k would put it at a great price point, but 15k is the middle ground for me. There are just so many bikes that are cheaper and just as well equipped.
@@MotorcycleDemoRiders You can get a ton of bike for 14k though from other brands lol
I Paid 1/3 of That For My 95 Sportster Custom 1200 !
Not really a fair ask to have instant power in 6th gear before 4000 rpm. Gear down and it will jerk your arms out of the socket even at the lower RPM.
Would this recommend this for a beginner? First time ridder?

@@MotorcycleDemoRiders Thank you for the great advice.
Terrible idea to learn to ride on a 17K machine.
@@tedcity5861 Not really worried about the price. I just want to know if the Rocket 3 is too much for a beginner/ new rider.
Glad I'm not the only one calling for dual disc front brakes. With Harley pricing dual discs would break the $20,000 mark 😂😂😂😂😂

I thought it looked cool… but the sound ruined it for me.
Maybe if you raise the price 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

10k will never be seen again for 10-1200cc bike.
I love the looks the red is a killer however I'd love to buy the bike but really the price ridiculously overpriced sorry no sale way overpriced.

Seems the bugs were worked out by the '23 model. I have a 23 and it has been flawless.

It's not for everyone that's for sure

Hell no I won’t buy a HD Sportster for $17,000 WAY to much money and they are phucking woke all to hell. I’ll get an Indian Scout
What's the Scout, 14K? 😅

Hell no. No sale for woke produced HD. To ugly, to expensive, and to woke. He'll no.
