The sound technician had problems to regulate the sound (mics or single instruments opened too late, once the whole band muted). Unfortunately, this also distracted from the enjoyment. No Opry announcers, no live commercials, and no performers to reveal the hidden stories of country music. So overall, unfortunately, very disappointing here as well.
I saw the show last night in Mannheim, Germany. Well, they've downgraded the show quite a bit. No more props (on air, WSM, Grand Ole Opry), just a regular country band, without a steel guitar!, rushing through dozens of songs, bad sound in the first row at lest. Not really worth it, I'm afraid.
